SS your S-ranks in PGR as F2P!

A casual look at how to SS your S-ranks in PGR.
Play the Phantom Pain Cage to get Phantom Scars. You can purchase enough shards to get your S-rank to SS as a F2P, but any additional shards will have to be pulled from the gacha. So, SS is the F2P limit.

Also note that you can get more phantom skull by getting the achievement from doing high score of each boss The outlier button (for those unlock ultimate) on the bottom right there will have multiple boss you can farm those as well The best thing about those is you don't have to worry about using character's stamina at all, so you can pick like for example Crimson Weave team to clear the whole thing themselves easily, tho myself only manage to clear the whole 480k achievement one for them except for -lightning res one with 580k

One thing to note is that once you unlock ultimate mode for PPC, you can earn more scars through completing achievements. There are different achievements for each type of boss (ultimate zone progress for x boss = fill in the blank), and the more points you get, the more scars u earn. There are five different achievements per boss. When I first unlocked ultimate PPC, I managed to get around 25 scars per boss (my units were decently leveled).

Additional information : - You need total 500 💀 PPC Shards, to SS any Omns. - For some characters shard (Kaleido, Rosetta, Luminance etc) also can be bought in BP shop, it help a little bit. - Kaleido shard can be SS through event dormitory & PPC simultaneously. (if you already unlock/have Kaleido)

To sum up the video: You can get S rank character shards from Phantom Pain Cage shop, using Phantom Pain scars (the skulls). In order to get the skulls you have to hit a certain score in Phantom Pain Cage by doing the bosses, more score = more scars. As an f2p, you can only rank up S rank characters to SS then you can't get any more of their shards, although it takes a while to acquire them, should be around 500 scars to go from S to SS.

Good to know. I don’t have many S rank constructs so I’m focusing on using those skulls on my A class constructs first and the quests that let you get 2 shards a day to get my Constructs to SS at least. SSS or higher will have to wait for all my constructs unless I randomly get copies of them when pulling on a different event banner.

@@griintea4301 I’m still kinda new to this game even though I started in September last year and missed out on past events. I’m trying to get all my constructs to at least SS for now. There are some events that sometimes require me to use almost my whole roster so I’m preparing them even it will take a long time.

plss dont do that mistake. use your skulls for u'r favorite S char. A shards can be acquired trough Resources Interlude

@@kulonstep69I think it’s a little late for that. I already have some A ranks already in SS but not strong enough for tough fights. I know the best option is to use the skulls mostly for the S ranks, but since I am also doing the jobs that let you get the Basic construct tickets. I was able to get 15 constructs to SS. I also did the quests that let you get 2 shards a day for A ranks plus the skulls so I didn’t have to buy all the skulls. There are still some A ranks that I enjoy using so I want to gather the memories for them to help in tough events. Since there are some events that require me to use almost my whole roster.

Your crab is so cute 😅 one question that i have is do i need to buy this shards while the banner of the said character is still up? Or can i buy those shards any time? Cause i have 3 days into the game and got CW in my third pull, but i dont think i will be able to grind all that before the banner ends

You can buy the S-rank's shards using scars any time. They won't go away after her banner leaves! Congrats on Crimson Weave! Keep in mind you can only SS with scars. They don't sell enough to get her to SSS or higher. Any higher than that, and you must pull copies from the gacha. However, SS is plenty of power in my opinion!

@@crabirl thanks! Ye since i just started playing i wont get greedy with one character, i think im better savig all my bc for feral+sig wep. Then pick Vera from selector and i would have the best lightning team for the next year (maybe even two) 😁

Sorry! I think if its your first time doing some of the Ultimate Pain Cage bosses, they award you extra Scars. So if you've already redeemed those first-clear bonuses, it will take more than a few weeks. Apologies!

18 so only to s6 but then again you'll only need 15 to unluck the first rank up special skill It's the very bottom in (character skill tab)and from ss to sss you'll need 90 so from s to sss you'll need 120 or 7 copies or 420 pulls on guarantee 60 pity

S rank dupes give 30 not 18, A ranks give 18 shards.

@@aldwin08sls You need 120 shards to get a. Character from S to SSS, you can get 30 for free from PPC but it takes like 3-4 months, then you will need 90 from dupes so 3, if you want SSS asap then that's 4 dupes
