This atrocity happened thanks to two of my nukie comrades and fish player who had the patience to go through with the plan in the first place, thanks you guys. Didn't have the opportunity to capture the destruction first-hand, so here's the round ID(tgstation): 155203.

you should have deconned it and brought it to the ship. since you can also c4 floor tiles and toss those through. but yea it rare to see ops take there time with ruins that generally always spawn.

this was more of a 'does this even work' than 'i want to greentext' kinda gig, so i hadn't thought about that. teleporter also preserves the speed of throws to some extent, so it's possible to have three sides from where you can throw shit in and preserve the beacon for a while.

What made the 60000 second syndi bomb detonate? Was it hacked to have some kind of activator on the detonation wire?

on any and all Z-levels actually, hence why I could detonate them from the teleporter

You can also get a bag of c-4 and take out the bomb cores for a quicker detonation that can't be defused. Toss it through and watch it go.

true, and it's also handy for using the throwing velocity to your advantage to set up bombs closer to spots that are a bit away from the telebeacon. but meta has good beacon placements as is, and not using the free button is a crime

@@anarhist8040 Totally forgot about the button, I usually use the method above as a tator as opposed to a nukie.
