Choose your colouring: Crayon: melee, increased stats in health, large hitbox, med-high dmg. Oil pastel: ranged, spread shot, chance to hurt welder slow firing speed, high dmg. Colouring pencils: ranged, rapid fire, low dmg per shot, piercing shots, precise. Cheap felt tip: melee, fast slicing, medium dmg, chance to break upon use.

So, I looked it up: Crayola started adding a built-in sharpener to their 64ct boxes in *1958*. I remember the sharpeners, but I thought it wasn't a thing until the 90s. I probably had never had a box big enough to include a sharpener until then.

Although a positive part of many childhood memories for some reasons crayons have been frowned upon as just kid-stuff and not for serious artists. Recall during my years studying industrial design, building rendering skills, and every so often someone would buy elite materials then expected great results. So hopeful.

I mean this looks great but def not a masterpiece compared to his other stuff. A masterpiece is something that shows the full extent of an artists skill and technique, which would more describe his watercolor paintings, not a crayon doodle he did.

If I remember right you can use crayon with watercolor like you would with oil pastels. It's surpose to water block due to the wax.

I would HIGHLY recommended the caran d'ache crayons - i have the water soluble ones. They’re like firmer oil pastels, very pigmented and so so blendable. Crayons are so fun to use and having proper grown up ones is amazing. They cost a pretty penny but even a small set of 10 has done me well.

Did a Monet piece in crayon didn't expect much, but then I got a pane of glass and a heating pad and it changed everything. Just set the glass on top of the heating pad getting it warm enough to barely soften the tips of the crayon and copy Monet's dab art style an it came out good.

I always wanted a 64 pack, I also wanted a zoobooks subscription, but I didn't get that either. We are middle class, we could have afforded a lot of things, but that's not a financially responsible way to raise a family

Crayons were suchhh a huge part of my childhood, I remember having a giant tub of them. Every so often we would take left over crayons and put them in molds to melt together to make giant star shaped crayons and heart shaped crayons, etc. I’ve recently got back into traditional art, and I really want to use crayons now, this video gave me so much inspiration!

I usually got the 96 count boxes of Crayola Crayons for School. And I have never liked the sharpener on the back of the box. It actually annoys me. I prefer the blunted tops because they give me so many more edges to work with when drawing. I can make a lot of different line shapes and thickness, which just adds dimension to whatever I’m drawing.

I remember our teacher forbade us from the crayon sharpener because she said the crayons would always break and never work right again. Thankfully I didn’t listen and my art became middle school masterpieces after that lmao

It proves that it's not the medium to make the art that makes it look good it's how good the artist is. I couldn't draw stickmen with a stencil of a stickman. Even if I used a $20 brush.

When I color with crayons I always make sure to rotate it and use every side so I keep the point and I never have to sharpen it.

If you grew up in the 60’s that set with the sharpener on the box was my dream present! Used up those crayons until & just the way they smelled brings back such fun memories! Lions could be purple, no rules just have fun!
