BtP = Board the Platforms
Bleh. Just a tie record, i really tried a faster slip of the ledge at P9 but it doesn't matter what i tried i always land on 14"67 even although i can jump a frame earlier. Also different angle jumps won't save a frame on the P9 and the other platforms are maxed out for sure. :/

I tried so many things to accelerate this ... like going back to p8 after p9 to avoid using the up-b, double jump headbonk before p10 to keep more air speed during the headbonk animation but nothing works ! If only fully charge punch would stop the fastfalling momentum.. we could simply double jump to the small red block before p10 ... it would at least be sub 20. The only thing that could change this strat would be to clip out of bound after p6 and get back inbound for p10. If we're out of bound we can comeback for p10, it's trivial, there's nothing that prevents it.. The issue is getting out.. even with TAS DI + lava hitstun it's not enough :/ The wall is solid so we would need enough speed in 1 frame to skip the collision kinda how pika is able to warp the staircase. Who knows, it's speedrunning so anything could happen eventually... but I have really low hope for this stage. It's actually the only remaining Tas Record of JPleal10. Every other stages we were able to beat his times

what if you started the upB after P9 earlier so that you almost hit the ceiling but the ceiling pushes you downward and you can land on the red block earlier and so the upB ends earlier

also itd be cool if you could reverse ledge DI the lava somehow above that red block, I doubt thats possible though

@@poopsmithjones1 Unfortunately you can't Up B any earlierer. 1 Frame earlier and DK always stucks too long on the wall.

@@poopsmithjones1 You can't be pushed downward by a non-moving object. Only a solid platform going down like the bottom section of mario btp can push you downward.

@@poopsmithjones1 Hitting the lava = stun for 1 second + Even if you DI and hit a wall, you're still stuck for at least 1 second. It was a good idea regardless

This game's TASing scene is old as dirt, so i know there's prob a reason. Why do you bonk the ceiling to reach the 5th platform? I guess if you wait til the 1st frame jumping wouldn't bonk, you wouldn't even reach the height of the platform, so you might as well touch the moving platform to jump from there?

Dk's double jump is so bad that you can't reach. Like not even close .. Regardless, it doesn't matter since your are capped by p8. As long as you reach p8 on time, nothing before matters.
