* I don't think this is possible in RTA, Bowser often doesn't cooperate.
* You need to damage Bowser (down b or phantom hit) or it won't count as a KO.

yes, cape counts. It makes this easier to do in RTA I guess

The fact that you had to do tons of phantom hits PLUS finding the perfect setup for the fastest time on each stock is hilarious. I love it

The first hit of up-B is always a phantom hit so I didn't need to optimize it. But sometimes up-B didn't ascend, especially when the previous up-B wasn't mashed well enough. I realized it a bit later so that's why there is one phantom upair, otherwise you could do up-B always.

The timing with the aerials (bair -> upair) while Bowser is still invincible, is it a specific timing to make Bowser airdodge or is it based on something else? Would be interesting to try. And what version did you use?

I used version NTSC 1.2. This should work well on all versions. Making Bowser roll to the edge is sometimes difficult. Like I said in the description, he doesn't always cooperate, especially when Peach is near. While he rolls to the right, you can jump off stage which makes Bowser jump off ledge and he will then air dodge always if you time your aerial right. Basicly the hardest and most unreliable part is making him roll. Perhaps RTA will need a mix of this strat and bat. The Up-B first hit is always phantom but you need to make sure that only that hit lands. If no hit lands, it won't count as KO and if second hit lands Bowser will recover. It is perhaps easier in RTA to do cape (only 0.1-0.2 sec slower), and then recover yourself to the stage.

Thanks, I've just heard that SDs in general is less likely on PAL. I'll probably try this (among many others when I get my NTSC copy).
