Most of them (even the best) are really casuals who mastered 1 fighting game while other top fighting game players mastered the art of *competition*. Sm4sh is the perfect example of this. Literally every top tier character in the game got nerfed into the ground due to the cry of casuals so now its a broken watered down mess of a game. ZeR0, Hbox, and the old school Melee dudes like Ken and Isai were/are also cut from the same cloth that true competitors are woven from. Too bad Zero retired and HBox mostly focuses on Melee and streaming. Those are the only two dudes in the smash community who have a chance to dethrone MKLeo but as Zero says: "since Smash players make 10% of what other fighters pay, its more lucrative for smashers to just become personalities instead of grinding for tourney wins"

Nairo is just really popular and Mkleo isn't. Remember when leo played Ike, and everybody called him braindead for playing a braindead hero? Then he switched to Joker, and everyone said Joker is just too good and Leo's getting carried by his character. It's stupid. Props to Nairo tho, wasn't expecting it to be this close.

I honestly feel like Nairo has so much potential he just needs to find a character that fits his play style perfectly, while Palutena is definitely high tier I feel like for a player as aggressive as Nairo she doesn’t complement him as well as she should.

Which is probably why his Ganondorf is fire! Unfortunately for Nairo there’s a lot of mismatches with him and it’s hard playing Ganondorf in brackets. I could see a character like Roy that would fit him well

nah man watch leo's set with kameme (the only person to beat leo at evo). kameme avoids arsene but also mixes his approaches up by playing the run away game during one period arsene is on, and then attacking another. i would highly recommend checking it out again, incredible play by kamemme.

Peach’s ledge trapping and camping with turnips are suuuper helpful against arsene tho. Like Samaria made it look easy beating arsene by just camping worth peach. Palutena cant do that as well tbh.
