I missed out last time, so I'm super excited to get my hands on it this time

Wow, it looks so nice, almost has an ancient or medieval codex look to it. Definitely considering getting this one.

Wonderful! We had placed an order for the 1st Edition just a bit too late, but I'm thrilled to see this new printing will be available so soon. It looks marvelous!

Thank you for this announcement! Now I can stop hitting refresh on the order page for the first printing, which I regrettably missed. I have this marked on my calendar for July 25.

Wow! What a gorgeous book. And with 10 ribbons! Remarkable. I'm an atheist, but have been collecting bibles lately and might add this to my collection.

I shall be praying that the content of the psalms of Holy David might, in time, win you over to love of God. He is most worthy of our love -- that is why this Breviary was created :)

I am so happy that the breviary sold out quickly, so as to show this is a great product. I ordered the Breviary right away, and love it. I’ve recommended to many. Thank you, Reverend Jeffries, and I look forward to seeing future works in the future. Please, if able, is there a spot on how to sing the magnificat that I missed in the breviary or a video?

I too tried to order the first printing, but it was sold out. I'm hoping to get money together to order a copy on July 25th. Saint Benedict and Saint Bernard are favorites of mine, along with some early Desert Fathers and Saint John Cassian. This Breviary should work quite nicely. Of course, I love the Anglican Breviary and the Anglican Office Book as well, but I also want something comparable to them with a solid modern language translation of the scriptures. Excellent prayer book!

Is there any way by which I could order it to Poland? It seems to me that Anglican House Publishers don't do that.
@Scott619BАй бұрын
I will order early on the 25th! I pray that you will not run out this time...😇
@benjefferies8531Ай бұрын
Hehe - yes - the moment stock gets low we will re order - so hopefully no more running out ever again :)

So, is this 2nd printing already sold out? If so, will you plan another printing soon?

No, not sold out - just hasn’t arrived yet

So orders open July 25 and ship August 20?
@benjefferies853120 күн бұрын
Shooooot -- I made a mistake. They don't arrive till Aug 25th, not July 25th...

Really excited to have a chance to get this since I missed the first printing! I am curious, is there a plan to make something similar using the traditional language version of the liturgy? That would be something I would love as well!
@benjefferies853124 күн бұрын
That *kinda* already exists: The "St. Dunstan Psalter" Subsequently there are no plans for a TLE breviary. But the Trad. Language primary canticles are included in the St. Bernard Breviary

Can I hope that it's a LEGO (Italy) printing this time round or are you still using a Korean publisher?
@benjefferies8531Ай бұрын
Can I ask what production details you have in mind specifically, that LEGO does that KoreaPrinting does not? Because they have met production standards very comparably (and I have done surgery on both LEGO and KoreaPrinting books to find out!)
@benjefferies8531Ай бұрын
Also, part of the decision was cost. If we produced this with LEGO, we would be forced to sell for over $175 to recoup the costs… Using our Korean printing partners meant we could keep cost accessible.

As a Korean Anglican I’ll just say I like that it’s printed by Koreans :)

Hi Ben! Love the breviary, use it all the time. One thing- The first printing had some issues with the placement of notation on the staff. My guess is it has to do with the black and red, that the paper is not aligned properly between the application of the red and the black inks. Sometimes it is very difficult to tell if a note is on the line or not-as a musician and teacher looking to help a community learn to chant, the visually unclear notations create some obstacles. In the spirit of St Bernard, who took men out into the woods to simply sing the psalms and returned the gift of song to the people, can you look into fixing those notations? Thank you so much. It’s mostly in the front part of the book (office and litany), not so much the psalter or hymnal.
@benjefferies8531Ай бұрын
Yes - I am happy to report that this has been corrected in the second printing. The printers graciously agreed to run the machines slower - which reduces paper slippage between the red and black plates. (You diagnosed it correctly) - and this has been totally effective - and the red and black are now nearly perfectly aligned in every case (it was the first thing I checked upon getting the second printing) Sorry for this gaffe in the first printing.
