This St Bridget 12 year prayer youtube video is a Catholic devotion based upon the 7 prayers of St Bridget of Sweden. These prayers honour the 7 times Jesus spilled his precious blood for us, as revealed by Our Lady to Saint Bridget of Sweden. This 12 year devotion consist of a meditation upon the 7 sufferings of Jesus:
First Prayer: The Circumcision
Second Prayer: The Suffering on the Mount of Olives
Third Prayer: The Flogging of Jesus Christ
Fourth Prayer: The Crowning of Thorns
Fifth Prayer: The Carrying of the Cross
Sixth Prayer: The Crucifixion of Jesus
Seventh Prayer: The Piercing of Jesus' Side
The 7 prayers of St Bridget of Sweden, are also known as the St Bridget 12 year prayer because it was revealed to Saint Bridget that anyone who would fulfill this devotion for 12 years would enjoy the following promises:
1. The soul who prays them will suffer no Purgatory.
2. The soul who prays them will be accepted among the Martyrs as though he had spilled his blood for his faith.
3. The soul who prays the 12 year prayer can choose three others whom Jesus will then keep in a state of grace sufficient to become holy.
4. No one in the four successive generations of the soul who prays the 7 prayers of St Bridget will be lost.
5. The soul who prays this them will be made conscious of his death one month in advance.
The St Bridget 12 year prayers were recited and recorded by Ken and Janelle Yasinski. Catholicism is so rich a tradition. May you be blessed by theses beautiful Catholic prayers.

There is no such thing as “luminous mysteries”. Saint Dominic received from the blessed Virgin; joyful, sorrowful and glorious mysteries. The “luminous” was invented by illicit pope. Last valid pope was Pope Pius XII

He only suggested them but never demanded that they be added .They reflect on the life of Christ and complement those that St.Dominic gave us so I learned from Taylor Marshall, a convert to Catholicism who had been an Episcopal minister. Cradle Catholics can learn so much from converts who really learn the core faith and try to understand the human frailties. Marshall wrote the book, Infiltrations: The Plot to Destroy the Church from Within. Don’t fall for Satan’s lures to take you down and away from Christ’s Church instituted for the salvation of all!

I was at adoration about three months ago and at my wits end...this woman came over to me and handed me this pamphlet... it was the Saint Bridget prayer which I never heard of. She saw the state which I was in, and she took time to explain to me the prayers on this pamphlet of Saint Bridget. I have not put it down since. What an awesome job you did on this video with the 12 year prayers of Saint Bridget. Yes, tears of hope did fill my eyes. God bless you and Mary keep you!!

Also, this channel by Ken and Janelle has a video of the 15 prayers which is nice to follow along with thru headphones if you’re driving or traveling some other way, or even going for a walk, or like me…while I’m sitting out on my patio with my dogs early in the morning after watching the Holy Mass followed by the Rosary at 8am eastern standard time on EWTN’s KZfaq channel.

@@renkomon.8312 it’s never wrong to ask for prayers. These prayers are for specific people, though, such as your soul a s those of your lineage in four generations. I’m not sure if these prayers are transferable to others, but you can certainly pray many other prayers for folks.

Thank you so much. It was beautiful even though painful to contemplate the immense suffering of Our Lord Jesus. Still my discomfort is nothing compared to the pain Jesus suffered for me. One of the promises this prayer has, is that those souls who may pray it devotedly for twelve years, the Lord would not allow them to die without receiving the sacrament of confession. My father was very devoted to this prayer, he died out of Covid, but before he died, God gave the the grace to administer him the sacrament of confession. I am a priest and I am very grateful to God that he gave me the blessing to witnessed that what this prayer offers, is real.

I’m a year behind you and hope to finish in 2033 if I’m still here (I’m 73 right now!) According to the Promises though it doesn’t matter if I die before completing it as it will still be valid since I had the intention of completing it. One thing concerns me a bit though as some websites I’ve seen declare that Popes in the past have stated that although the saying of the prayers has much merit, the promises attached to them cannot be seen as absolute truth. Nevertheless I choose to believe the Magnificent Promises as I have great faith that St Bridget would have no reason to make up that part. 🙏🏻

Don't think about the 12 years. Think about the beauty, the mystery of it all. Just think of it each day and it's a short period of time each day. If God could sacrifice all He did we can spend less than 15 minutes each day. Pretty soon it will seem strange not to say it. I've been thinking why stop at 12 years I'll just keep saying it for as long as I can. Many blessings to you and how lucky are we to have this special gift of this wonderful prayer. @@Lucky13Good i highly recommend you to start praying these prayers, for me they are a lifechanger!! If you don't have them in Ukrainian, perhaps you could put a written English version into translator and make it in your language? It's totally worth it!! 🤗
