What a lovely video. Very interesting to watch and sad also to see this once lovely building with so much history, just left to rot. Very sad too that there have been fires here, destroying so much. I hate to see abandoned old buildings, just left like this. Buildings with history like this should be preserved. Thank you for your video.

Spent a night there, in the admin building near the clock tower, back in 1998. It was quite something as all the buildings were there, including the old laundry, which had been left the same as it's closure in 1995. The place was massive.

My mum was a patient there, used to always visit her god bless her

I went for a nose around one morning and got escorted off the premises by a security guard! He was OK though.

Somewhere I worked once and experienced the unexplained 3 times once with someone else and I still think about it now and then,still trying to find a way to explain it

I look after aload of blocks of flats right next to this place and you can see over into this place and I have always wanted to go in just worried about being caught as there's a security caravan in there.
