The full video from St Day raceway on Sunday 24th of May for truck banger racing. 6 trucks lined up to start the day with just 1 finishing. For the first time ever, they went into a demolition derby at the rend of the last race, meaning the last truck left running was the winner.

If that Magnum never had that lift up axle it wouldn’t of been so fast out the corners, there’s probably over a Ton hanging over the rear of that truck. I would bet my last pound Richy knew that .... most definitely 👌👌👌

Mr69ireland It is pretty epic. The normal unlimited bangers at big evens are nuts. They'll go full throttle into the back of someone else. The first time I went to see bangers, one of the guys went into the back of a hearse and bent the chassis to behind the head of the driver. Scary but bloody brilliant

That Renault Magnum was knife through butter against all those trucks. Should've brought a Volvo FH or Mercedes Actros to even it out!

That Foden tractor truck had potentials to put a good fight with the Magnum but it kept losing traction. If there was a Volvo FH, it would destroy all the trucks 😂

I noticed most of those trucks hadn't been stripped out - they still had their plates! Were they still technically roadworthy? Ironic the rubbish truck got taken out, really.

kcvous I must admit, when I went into the pits to look around I thought it was going to be pretty good. Admittedly there wasn't too much action but it is just the spectical of it which is great

They clearly weren't limited to what they could run, so they could have all brought high power tractor units if they could find them. Yes, the 7.5 ton Cargo and Leyland-DAFs were outclassed by the Renault and, to a lesser extent, the Seddon-Atkinson tractors, but that's part of the fun. It's not always the driver with the most powerful or heaviest vehicle that wins, it's the one with most skill...
