Greatest game in history... at least for my family. My grandma was a lifelong cardinals fan, and she told my dad in September 2011 that she was going to see the cards win the world series. Little did we know at the time, she meant in spirit. She sadly died of heart failure the morning of game 7, but she still got to see the cardinals win it all. Bittersweet day for my family.

There were many gleeful Cardinal fans, but almost none moreso than my buddy and I. That June, I had converted from the Red Sox to the Cardinals, against his advice. At the time, the Cards were going nowhere in a hurry, best they could hope for was a draft lottery pick. BoSox were a world series contender. August came around, he warned me about switching over. Then came the unlikely winning streak in September to clinch the unlikeliest playoff spot and he was already eating his words (and it tasted good). And we haven't seen nothing yet. Not one, not two, but three series won as the underdog, huge underdogs. It's the baseball equivalent to Miracle on Ice.

I was four when my Texas Rangers lost the 2011 World Series in seven games four games to three , and I was in shock, 😮😮 😮 because this loss comes a year after their 2010 World Series loss over the San Francisco Giants in five games losing four games to one🥺🥺😢 , and I was three when that happened. And now 12 years later after turning 16 on August 4 of last year 2023, the Texas Rangers went back to the 2023 World Series, but this time, winning in five games over the 2001 World Series champions Arizona Diamondbacks four games to win their very first ever World Series title two years removed after a humiliating and embarrassing 60-102 2021 season.

This will forever be the greatest World Series of all time
