Always so satisfying watching koscheck lose
@engrey2 жыл бұрын
I hated the guy because he acted like an arrogant prick. With that said, I felt really bad for him when I saw his fucked up eye. Then I felt even worse when I heard that eye gives him constant problems and pain and probably will for the rest of his life. I guess that's the price you pay for being an MMA fighter but it still sucks for him.

Josh Koscheck has outstanding wrestling credentials and is an elite wrestler/grappler. GSP on the other hand has no wrestling credentials before he got into MMA yet GSP made Koscheck look like an amateur BOTH times they fought in the Wrestling/Grappling Department. This is one of the many reasons GSP is one of the 🐐’s due to his amazing talent picking up and mastering different arts of fighting so quickly then becoming better at it than people who have been training since childhood.

Love gsp, but what are you on about? 😂 I'm pretty sure he felt rather threatened in the Johnny Hendricks fight, when his face was getting tenderised
@RMichaelHimself Жыл бұрын
I thought he handled Alves pretty handily. Alves really didn’t have punching power; he had scary knees and leg kicks but Georges neutralized that easily with distance. GSP did everything he wanted whenever he wanted. Arguably outstruck Alves, then just took him down whenever he wanted, with little resistance. Which was arguably more impressive than winning the striking exchanges; Alves was known for his TDD at that time. He was sorta like a WW aldo with his style in those days. Oh how he fell off.

The crazy part for me is that GSP never stopped looking for submissions. Nowadays you watch UFC, you rarely see a fighter attempt more than 2 submissions in the same fight, they usually look for an opportune moment to invest all their energy into something. GSP seemed like he never actually stopped looking for subs, and he wasn't concerned with tiring out Koscheck. He wasn't going to the ground to score points, or tire Koscheck, he was going for the kill over and over and over.
