If you want a hot tip wearing thermal pads give you additional battery for every single one you attach to your suit. I personally always have two equipped even outside cold areas just for that boost and don't run into any battery issues as a result. Unless I'm doing something like building infrastructure for a weekly challenge in the mountains, especially if I'm bringing in loads of upgrade materials. Then battery can be an issue due to it constantly draining from the cold and how much time I'm spending in the area without returning to a generator.

Next time you have it, try one of the two things: try to glide just a foot off the ground in standing position... like a skateboard made of air... just barely off the ground... you slide forward, floating. Secondly: the FEEL and the way you leave the ground determines whether you'll fly or slowly float back to the ground. It's a relationship with the whole environment... you're neither pushing yourself to escape the ground, nor pulling yourself up in the air in desperation... it's the place between the both which belongs to neither, it's somewhat magnetic, yet very free... like wind lifting you up like a leaf... or a breath of free air. Flying is a state of being, that blissful feeling... On the lighter side of things, when your routine is within the sacred boundaries, nothing wrong going on at least from your end, and when you're praying to God. Those are the phases in which I usually get such dreams. To me it's a message that I'm freeing myself from my wrong behaviors through prayer and attention to my relationships. Like a sign that I'm doing something right, and need to do more of that.

@@michaelt7209 Sometimes I find getting out of the truck and then back in allows you to jump better. Not sure why this worked for me but it did. You must have been really stuck because the truck is all I use now.

There were alot of big rocks in the way on a downhill, so my truck would slide into them and I can't stop it until it's too late =)

I generally prefer using the all-terrain skeleton in most cases because the stability it provides allows you to sprint over not so great surfaces. So it's great as a general purpose tool if you aren't doing a super tight delivery. But if you know the terrain is going to be good and you can't use vehicles, have to plan out a specific route, etc then using the speed skeleton is the way to go.

@@chunkymilk Pretty sure under "ideal" conditions you'll get more distance and move faster with your jumps if you have the speed exo equipped.

@@lenowoo only the central region has roads. Anything beyond Mountain Knot and South Knot is on foot or Zip-lines become your best friend. I just use the long range Cicada to go everywhere since it’s unstoppable, if you know how to use it properly.

You unlock the Roadster by S ranking the normal Roadster course or w/e it's called at the racetrack. To get the long range Roadster you have to S rank all 4 courses. Then you can fabricate and use them outside of the races.

You have to S rank one of the Roadster races to get the base model, then S rank all 4 to get the Long range model. Took me about 30-40 minutes the other day, they're not too bad.

It actually kinda does the reverse. Due to the time investment required to have fully completed roads and also have maxed out the facilities required for all the upgrades. By the time you've unlocked all of those things you've already done more travelling than you would have had you not gone out of your way to do so. On top of that there aren't many deliveries you can do on foot like this. Usually the only orders you perform with this sort of setup would be the timed weekly deliveries that ban you from using a vehicle. I remember thinking the same thing when I first unlocked ziplines but after building my own zipline network and maintaining it I realized that the amount of time, effort and exploration invested in it actually made the gameplay way more meaningful. You'll quickly find that you can't just place ziplines anywhere as you'll run out of chiral bandwidth and if you don't upgrade the ziplines to at least level 2 they'll degrade to timefall fast. You'll actually find yourself going out on foot and climbing snowy peaks with floating carriers hauling chemicals and alloys going to spots you would lever go otherwise as you make your own choices and optimize your own zipline network. Makes it even more rewarding when you build around another player's ziplines and upgrade their zips as well. Give it a shot sometime and it may change your perspective as well!
