I enjoyed the video. Thank you. Here's a tip for you for your travels with quilt blocks you've already precut. Instead of using paper plates, purchase inexpensive plastic table mats. These could be cut in half to fit easier in your Yazzi bag. Place cuttings for each block and use Glad Press and Seal to keep them secure and prevent mix-up and loss. The Press and Seal can be reused to lengthen the lifetime of the product.

Great video. That's how I secured my quilts on my longarm too. I sold it so now I am back to using my domestic and my embroidery machine. But I miss my longarm!

So you baste the whole quilt BEFORE you quilt it?

Not always. Only when it’s not looking square.

So, after you basted the very bottom of the quilt, I am assuming that you rolled the entire quilt top, batting and backing onto the backing bar so that you could start quilting from the top down. You did not show this part, so I want to be sure that I am understanding.
