AGREED 💯👍🏾 Why, and what makes them so special! Lololol all she could respond is the queen has duty and works hard....to this day I have no clue what she did, or they do at all? If duty is forced on ANYONE because their parent passed on, ANYBODY will rise to service period! They are not like the everyday commoner and will never be. They do not feel the financial strains we feel on a daily basis and never will and what they do does not impact the commoners life in any way shape or form so I agree with Stacey. STOP telling ppl "she served with duty" ppl do that everyday and are not rewarded as they are. So, who cares about the royal family, they are not impressive and not worth the money and taxes the world and the UK gives them. Also, 99% of the rooms in that palace are NOT and have NEVER BEEN occupied. Ppl are outside and have NO place to live the least they can do is rent out or give out some space to those less fortunate than themselves. Then and ONLY then will I ever pay them any attention!!!!

It’s all about history, tradition our status as a country in the common wealth. It’s not about money it’s about duty and a religious order to serve the country. It’s a shame the younger generation have lost tradition

The Royal family bring a lot of attention to the country and foreign investment that we may not otherwise get. When they visit abroad we can send them as people the world is familiar with. Rather than ambassadors that no one knows. The other thing is continuity, as politicians, prime ministers and (annoying) celebrities come and go we have known of the Royals since they were babies. They are a stable, familiar and unifying entity, in a chaotic and "coming and going" world.
