Nick Taylor authorised Stack and Tilt and GOLFTEC instructor explains the Stack & Tilt Golf swing from the aerial view camera. This is a great angle to see the motions of the body and the swing path to help you keep the club on the grid.

Pure brilliance. You are a genius. For as long as I can remember, down the line and face on have been the way to see the golf swing in review. That said, I have learned more from this video and your previous one from behind, than I have in the 5 months of practicing/studying S&T. Thank you so much!

I have to agree. Watching DTL and Face On pro swings had me trying some really weird things. The overhead view has given me a better idea of the shape of the swing.

Nick, excellent overview of the S&T swing with the birds eye view. Have been working on S&T now for a couple of months reading the book and absorbing endless You Tube vids like yours, Rob Cheney, and Tom Saguto. There is a lot of detail in S&T but like any golf shot the setup and ball position is key (and the easiest) and I find that if you turn and tilt properly keeping the head relatively still, the arc of the backswing and the cocking of the wrists happens naturally. Tilting back, arcing your back with the arms extended in the same plane at finish results in consistent ball contact. For me swing tempo is the key to center contact. Once I get more consistent perhaps I will look to increase my clubhead speed. The journey is as enjoyable as the end result. Appreciate your excellent S&T lessons. Cheers

Top down view is so different (& extremely helpful) than a lot of instruction out there (not that I watch any other golf channel!) it really helps seeing the club stay on the grid especially in the follow through and maintaining your wrist angles and not flipping the hands. What has really helped me is the feeling on punching/curtailing the follow through and getting a nice soft draw. Cheers Nick

The video every golfer needs to watch… excited to hit the range today…. Also the best view of inside the left heel being misrepresented in most instruction. It’s why amateurs get the ball too far forward in the stance!

Aerial view is superb, you can really see the corkscrew twist back and through, excellent. Why though is ‘ the ‘grid’ set at angles and not a curve , surely this cannot accurately replicate hand and club path # no straight lines in golf

I think I missed this video. Wow I am now working on my lag and club position at impact. This is an awesome video. I was actually building my grid and ran into this over head video. Also what golf replacement grips you recommend for someone that is looking for a tacky feeling grip. Trying to loosing up my grip on club and I think the tacky grip will help me with that . Maybe!!😆Thanks Nick. Merry Christmas to you brother. Thank you for everything.

Nick you indicated several times what right wrist should be doing; thank you. Due to a serious trauma I ended up with about 70% of strength and range of motion in my right wrist. In you opinion what effect do you think this has on the golf swing and what I should be doing to overcome wrist handicap?
@NickTaylorGolf
@NickTaylorGolf 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Carl, the right wrist does play a huge key role in creating power and moving the low point forward so guess you will lose a bit power but should be able to still make good contact

@@NickTaylorGolf - Thanks Nick. For years I have known I could never be a long hitter with this defective right wrist. I use more club than most, well suited club heads and quality graphite shafts. Like you say good contact is key for sure; I can do OK as long as I don't get short, quick and hit behind the ball. It seems like I am always searching to find compensations for my right wrist.

Suggestion show slow motion of impact of the club face to show face is really open on contact but ball is released when face is square this would let everyone see that square or closed at impact is wrong
