Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

The absolutely best preachers I’ve ever listened to in my 57 years... it been a long road through all the false teachers of today’s world... test everything.. then cross reference everything.. for your very soul is required of YOU... Read the WORD OF GOD for yourselves... it’s that serious.. Because you will live forever... regardless of what we think..

Absolutely beautiful and encouraging! Oh our prayer is that all "Christians" could listen to these profound words filled with the Wisdom of the Holy Ghost. They would then run out of the "emerging" church cult. Back into the very busim of GOD! Thank you our brother in Jesus Christ for your ministry. You are in our prayers!

Isn't that masochism, the earning of spiritual brownie points - the more the better. We might as well hunt for trouble and see how much we can take before we snap! Just remember that we are made of dust, not metal. There is such a thing as determinism (everything is fixed in advance and the ends always justify the means). Don't break the bruised reed or quench the smoking flax!

christopher davis Do you think these thumbs down are fake from the system.? I’ve seen things on internet which it’s impossible to thumbs down and them thumbs down exist. But spurgeon is the best I’ve heard . God bless you 👍🙏❤️

I'm a child of God and I'm so thankful my chosen afflictions have a Godly purpose. How absolutely horrible to suffer in this life and then suffer for eternity in hell. I pray with all my heart for the unbelieving to believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus.

Please what he means when he says "chosen". I hope he's not saying you are chosen before you are born.

I think he does mean chosen before we were born...we were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world. God knows and sees everything before it happens.

Dear Mary, I believe that we all were chosen, ALL! But not all will stay on the path. And there were some that were born of Satan these are the ones that define with out a doubt. Yet God says, Do not judge, meaning only He knows ones heart. God's desire is that none will perish, surely Moses, The prophets, the apostles, were literally chosen before birth, like David. But because of Jesus Christ we all have a chance to be just as great in God's Kingdom. Even if one is very small, tiny , they are still great. What if you through out your whole life only led one of your girl friends to Christ? And what if the whole meaning of your birth was to do just that? To God. This is great.

I like the way he reads the messages but he is wrong with the scripture where Nebuchadnezzar said there are four in the fire it's not the son of the gods it's the Son of God that needs to be corrected .

Who are all you people? I've been going through a sifting being weighed on the scale and have been found wanting. I feel very close to the end of my life seeking Him now every hour. I go back and forth knowing I'm hell bound and then happy that I'm heaven bound. After hearing this now I know I'm hell bound. My whole life has been spent as a loner, I conquered the sea and the sky as an expert skydiver truly living on the edge. I've lost 42 buddy's skydiving. Now I see my only goal has been just me, self seeking. I find myself craving for what you people have. I always believed the one thing that was sacred to me was God. But I've never known what you people talk about. A true hatred for sin. The Holy Spirit living in me! What do I do now? I can't trust myself. I'm the person Spurgeon warns about. All the Furnace I've gone through has not really drawn me closer. It hardened my heart.
