Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf KZfaq channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

So glad I'm apart of changing your lives since you have changed mine. After losing my stepdad in 2016, the man that introduced me to the game as a youth and my main golf partner and the reason I love this game, I stopped playing when he passed but when I found you guys it inspired me to start looking for clubs again and going to the range. I just played my first 9 holes today after almost 5 years. So thank you. Thank you so much for bringing the joy of golf back into my life, and bringing back so many memories I had with him. You two are truly amazing 🤟 And also the craziest place I ever found golf clubs was a guy selling stuff out of his van outside of a Walmart. He had some decent clubs too I bought a Cleveland wedge!

Absolutely love the show..have emailed you guys but no reply.. guess you get smashed with emails..anyway..thanks for inspiration again for golf after enduring many surgeries... Saving and saving as money limited to afford some gear but slowly getting there..I also do opportunity shops and pawn shops looking for bargains , but unfortunately here in Australia we get ripped off on good gear cheap.. Hope you guys stay safe and keep doing such a good job..thank you..

In college I lived rented a house that was being foreclosed on. The bank offered me some money to move out and I took the deal. Found clubs in the basement that were a mix between wood and forged irons. Went out with a friend and hit 128, lost 17 balls, but got both a par and a birdie. Got hooked immediately. Great game and great videos! My wife is getting into golf and she enjoys watching too!

Found this little gem a couple of months ago and I can definitely say it is currently my favorite youtube channel! I haven’t played golf for 1,5 decade and found my old dunlop golf clubs in my wooden shack this summer. Started to play again with them. Thanks Jon and Ashley and congratulations on 80k subscribers! Found a full set of Titleist Tour 90 clubs, DR, 3W,5W, 2-PW at an antique shop. Truly made me feel old as these were my first full set in 1972 and here they are considered as antiques :-) Congrats on 80k, fingers crossed for 100 for ya!!

It isn't exactly crazy, but it is the most meaningful. Many years back I was in my parent's garage and I found the first set of junior clubs I was given by my grandfather when I was around five or so years old. He was the one, along with my dad, who got me into golf. I had no idea they were in there as I hadn't seen them in years. I still have them to this day and always will. My grandfather has since moved on to the 18 in the sky, but I will cherish the memories we have golfing together forever.

I’ve never really found any clubs in a weird or crazy place, but I do have a funny yard sale story. A neighbor of ours had a yard sale, ,and when they were cleaning up, they asked my wife if she wanted to come look and she could have anything that she found/wanted for free. So I made the comment to my wife, if they have any golf stuff to grab it. She sort of rolled her eyes and said, I really don’t think they will have any golf stuff. About 20 minutes later she came home with a few items and had the most peculiar look on her face. She then proceeded to pull out an off brand 56° wedge. So we had a good laugh over that one. Craziest place I found a club was when I went into the trees looking for my ball and I found a r7 driver just lying there 🤣. Would love to use the Kirkland sig wedges because I can't get them here in Ireland

Found 15 sets in my neighbors storage unit! Helped them clean out the unit and there was an abundance of clubs some I still use in my bag today!!

Congrats on 80k guys. I work at our local landfill a couple afternoons a week. An old bag of off brand clubs and a bucket of old dusty range balls has provided me with entertainment on more than one afternoon.

You both are awesome! Ashley, you are playing so well! It's a joy to watch you play. As for the strangest place I found clubs, believe it or not, a funeral home! I went there to clean my grandparent's gravestone and there were clubs in the parlor. I asked the director about them and he said they were a display for a golfer who had passed away and they were left there. The director called the widow to come pick them up and she said she was tired of them because that as all her late husband did was play golf! She said to throw them away so he eventually gave them to me. Good timing on my part! The irons were nice, old Callaway S2H2's but everything else was junk. Congrats on 80,000!

One time I went to Edwin Watts to look around, and I was trying out some used clubs on their simulator when a guy who worked their unexpectedly said that there were some clubs given to them and he wanted me to have them. It ended up being a couple wedges, a 3 wood, 2 hybrids, and 2 putters. It was crazy because I had been using a cheap set of clubs at the time, and they fit perfectly into my bag. By the way, my last name is Kirkland and those Kirkland wedges would be very cool to have. What degree is the PXG though?

Since I live in Mexico I have not been able to see a PXG clubs... I believe that the Project X shaft makes these irons so easy to hit with less dispersion. I do love your enthusiasm and what a nice couple you are! Saludos!!!

“Squirrel!” 😂 You guys are awesome! The craziest place I ever found golf clubs was at my dads workplace about 10 years ago. Turns out the owner left them there and completely forgot about them, which led him to decide to let me have them. Had a good mix of Callaway clubs, some I still use today….could definitely upgrade the wedge though! Congrats on 80 thousand guys!!!

Awesome video guys!! I once bought a Ping Anser 2 from a guy playing ahead of me at TPC Scottsdale. He was coming off of 9 and was super mad with his putting. I told him I’d pay him $20 for it and he took it and went into the clubhouse and bought a new putter. Great moment!

Thank you so much Ashley and Jon for making your videos. They've truly brought back my love of the game of golf. My friends and I play with pre-1980 clubs now, mostly Hogans! The strangest place I found a golf club was a local thrift store that hardly ever has clubs. I walked in one day and spotted a single club in a trash can full of sporting good items. It was a Scotty Cameron Red X putter!

Flea market vintage electronics store. Saw a couple ping putters sitting in the corner behind the display case. Didn't buy any electronics, but did leave with a couple more putters. It's never hurts to ask.

Always fun videos, craziest place I found clubs was at a vintage shop in Madison SD, the clubs were in a basket outside the shop in the weather year round and did I mention outside the shop, all the time!

Great round you two!!! Always enjoy all of your videos and you've got me doing weekly checks in all my local Goodwills and thrift stores these days. My best pickup was a basically new condition Scotty Newport 2 for free!! A guy that I had just started playing golf with saw me struggling with my TM Spider Tour and asked me if I ever tried a Cameron Newport..Told him I used one for about 15 years and sold it to a buddy when I bought the Spider...he then brought me the Newport 2 the following week and gave it to me and it's been in the bag since!!!

Congrats on 80,000! It makes me happy to see Hoosiers doing well (I grew up in Bloomington). The craziest place I found golf clubs was one of the local thrift stores in btown. It was a store know for its vintage clothes, not vintage clubs.

Have a shed full of clubs me and my family have had through all our lives. I kept them all when my parents sold our childhood home a few years ago. Had a tree company come in to remove a few trees before listing the home. All the guys on that tree job just began golf. I gave away a ton of clubs that day to get these guys jump started. They left me cash and a card about a month later. I still see them on the course to this day. Just love introducing people to the game. I always have at least 3 extra sets just in case I get the chance to bring someone into the game I've loved so much for over 35 years

Congrats on 80K Subscribers. When my grandfather passed away, in the basement I found a set of MacGregor JACK BURKE 350W MASTER Persimmon Driver, #2 & #3 Woods. Grandma said I could have them. I played them for several years.

Back when i was in high school here in Canada i found a set of Taylormade R11 Irons in the science room closet. This was in 2013 when they were fairly new clubs, didnt belong to the teachers it was just something the school bought for Gym classes and they never got used because with bylaws you're not allowed to golf in public parks. So they just sat in the closet in the plastic the 4 years i went to school there from 2013-2016.

Great round John!! I think 100,000 subscribers is in the near future. When I was a kid I used to sneak in the golf course and wade the ponds for golf balls. Found several clubs including a couple of drivers. I was never good enough to get that upset over a bad shot. Best of luck in your quest for the next grail.

Congrats on 80,000!!! Hearing Rick Shiels give you a shoutout on his channel and doing a video inspired by you guys was pretty cool to see. Honestly I like your content more than Rick's anymore...your guys are so happy and have such a good wholesome relationship. You can tell you enjoy time together and each others company. I'm not much of a thrift shopper but I have found some clubs in bushes and ponds at golf courses!!

Congratulations on the 80,000 . I am from NC and back in February while on our golf trip in fla we played this course. The staff there was outstanding. We accidentally left my gps on the cart . After returning to NC I received a call from them asking me for my address to mail me my gps . I had written my phone number on the bottom of my gps . Within a few days my gps arrived. It was pretty cool to see y’all playing a course I have played. Enjoy your channel

80k! I just broke 80 for the first time last month. Been with yall since the beginning. Best find was at my local dump, 56 Vokey and the grip was missing, bought a new one and had me a great club. Grooves were mint!

Love the channel... I actually found a partial set of Callaway X-16 clubs for sale in a cabinet shop years ago. I still throw the pitching wedge in the bag every once in while.

Great content, found a set of Ping eye2’s in a lean to shed in a neighbors yard while mowing his lawn, he gave them to me and still paid for the lawn mowing.

We went out of state and looked at a goodwill. We found a full set of golf smith forged irons for $20.00. My father in law still plays them! Congratulations on the 80k
