Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf KZfaq channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

I thought of you two today after stopping by a thrift store I had never been in on my way home from a flea market where I was looking for tools (all the golf clubs at the flea market were basically junk). The thrift store had a sign that everything was 50% off. I went back to the area they called the man cave and they had some clubs back there, mostly common low line clubs or knockoffs. But in one bag they had a complete set of Armour 845s Titanium (3-PW) that were in good shape with original grips that were barely worn. Also in the bag was a Ping B60 putter that definitely had more wear than the irons. I snatched them all up and the total with tax was $9.55! Can't wait to try them and compare to my JNP's. The 845's have a regular shaft as opposed the JNP's with the stiffer Rifles, but at age 65 the softer shaft might end working even better.

Hey, kids! That gray tube with the stickers on it in the background at 7:10 is a sonobuoy overpack. Inside that overpack used to be (and maybe still is!) a U.S. Navy sonobuoy, used in my P-3 Orions, P-8 Poseidons, H-2 Sea Sprites to detect and track underwater objects. (Submarines!) Yours truly has handled quite a few of them in his 20 years flying as a Naval Aircrewman. I'd bet this one made its way down from NAS Jacksonville. That overpack would be an effective way to ship irons, or store them! Strong, sturdy, stackable, and water and dustproof! (Unlike me!!) Love you kids! Jim

Hey guys I just started to watch you I’m very new to golf meaning I just started last week I am no in love with golf but I got my grandpas old golf clubs which all pretty much need new handles and new shafts I didn’t know that good will sold golf clubs but now I can go and get some for not to much thanks for showing me that I can do what I like without breaking the bank

I started watching you guys maybe a month ago, and it inspired me to start looking at used clubs. As a high handicapper, I’ve always been told I can’t hit blades but I’ve always loved the look, so I found a Titleist 690 mb 7 iron on eBay and took it to the range: It was like a dream come true, the sound, the feel and the results were better than I imagined! I tracked down the 5-PW to complete the set, and they just arrived yesterday. With all that said, It’s kind of blowing my mind that you found some 690’s in this vid hahaha! Keep up the awesome content!

@@bigboypantsgolf They sound and feel soooo good! I’ve had TaylorMade R7’s for the past 15 years and hitting the 690’s is like playing a different (more fun) sport! I just took them out for my first round with the whole set and I beat my personal best by 5 strokes and zero doubles (I’m a 16 handicap)…blades definitely suite my game for some reason!

At 7:13 the Taylormade TP with the Rombax shaft. Those shafts were quite expensive and still looks like they can be worth $100 if you can find one.

That Ping is the best looking big display bag I've ever seen, looked like it was never touched. And that was a deal on the Exotics 3w (at least compared to its initial msrp)...glad you get along with a 3 wood finally.

Y’all run across more ping eye 2 woods! I guess they’re less rare than I thought. Especially the 4 wood! I used to used it as my “driver” in early junior tournaments…my competition was using great big and biggest big berthas and I would still outdrive them. Hit low worm burner hooks that ran for days. Lol oh how time flies.

I still play the 670 forged blades and the Mizuno wedges I bought when I was in graduate school 20 years ago. Until I get too old to swing them in another 25 years, they're the only clubs I can see a need to own.

The Burner TP fairway wood @ 7:11 looked like a Tour Issue HFS model (you can see it on the hosel), those were cannons in their day. Smaller head with a cambered sole.

God, I remember buying a set of Titleist 690mb's and a random set of nike blades at a yard sale for next to nothing when I was in high school thinking I could hit them. I learned pretty quickly just how dumb I was, instantly got rid of the nikes (Hardest club I've ever hit, id have played better with a bag of old CB 2 irons) but for some reason stashed the Titleist's. Just recently went through my parents storage unit and found them after more than a decade, went to try them out against my current set of Titleist 718 T-MB's, and was pleasantly surprised, might end up swapping out the 8-pw for the 690's.
