That stadium was paid off early because the state runs a massive surplus not because the stadium was so successful. Also it was built 8 years ago in Minnesota so it only cost about 1/6th of what this one will

14 acres for kids, young families, ' there's a race to get to our young people first, the streets or us' - no better way to say it. Thank you Mayor, thank you Kevin. You have my one vote... Make it happen. It's important. Vastly so. A truly great city can do this. Remember we were going to do more to get the 2016 summer Olympics. Remember that? We lost. Thank goodness. But now we have THIS...I have goosebumps.

Big mistake Arlington Heights would have been massive for the bears. Could’ve been similar to what the Arizona Cardinals have with hotels and entertainment district with bars restaurants and retail AND PARKING. Soldier Field 3.0 will be trash

If the president and stadium guy guy starts this “special day” announcement of a beloved teams new stadium plans with……Not easy,Difficult,challenging,questionable,,huge task. Then calls on notoriously uncooperative unfriendly at best and animosity filled at worst parties to unite and collectively collaborate to do the Herculean task of building something that other cities in past stadiumbuilds nearly crushed friendlier much less entrenched in their oppositional dogmatic beliefs. This negotiation will teeter on a knifes edge and will test the entire city to achieve, if even possible in any larger than life anounced way. I hope and pray so….but its 50\50
