Wrexham has so much potential, really confident Ryan and Rob will make them the biggest club in Wales eventually. Their journey to the Championship and maybe even the Prem one day will be a fascinating watch. Getting back in to the EFL will probably be the biggest challenge of them all bit let's hope they can do it.

It reminds me of the opera house in cardiff bay. It feels simultaneously natural and industrial, which fits with the town. It also somehow fits with the Mold Stand too. The architects did a good job with the design, congrats guys.

Lets hope we get things right on the pitch aswell, as at the end of day thats the most important thing, we need out of this division, We can have the best kop in the world and for the record it looks bloody ace but , we need a team on the pitch that does the business aswell.

Would be a fantastic addition to a legendary stadium. I studied on a Btec in the '90's at Plas Coch next door to the ground and have fond memories of going to the Turf for fish finger butties. Wrexham FC & the Racecourse regeneration will have a positive effect on the community and Wrexham will really be able to benefit from the focus that Rob & Ryan's stewardship has brought to the town. Da iwan! :)

That stand looks amazing, I now have a 2nd club for many years as a Ipswich town blue and though, now I have a rint of red and black for Wrexham fingers crossed for a double promotion this season

Why is the focus on the north east side? Have the design mirrored so the entrance/glass is on the south east. It will create a better first impression with most fans arriving from the south east. It will create a better square with The Turf.

Love it from a Netural. I just hope for all Wrexham the cost of this new stand does not affect the team going forward. Yes "hollywood money" but that isn't oil money. If the stands aren't packed each and every home game (i'm sure it would be, even with international fans now), this could be bad business. I'm not a religious man but pray this is the start of something new for your town. When i get the cash together ill have to take in a match with you lot.

What material will be used for those very large transparent triangular sections at either end of this new stand? 3D rendering issue perhaps? Such a large area for a piece of glass... or plastic even! I've never seen that before!

Very nicely done AFL that will be an impressive and exciting project for the Racecourse! It's a real shame the university stuck that monstrosity to the back of the wrexham larger stand, which will restrict further opportunity for developing the ground further down the line!

Very nice. But the top priority is to get out of the National League, and that means by taking it like we took the Third Division in 1978, with no one else in sight. I don't want any more playoffs.

In 2-3 years Wrexham is going to be a better club to sign for than half the clubs in The Championship especially WHEN they reach League One! What a story, their fans n City deserve the good fortune, and the TV show is brilliant for all of the lower leagues for the attention it brings World wide! Let's not rule out the likes of Tom Cruise buying Aldershot or Jay Z buying Mansfield! Every lower club PR person should be all over it, a good heart felt story, email, and signed shirt across the pond could work wonders now! Hollywood loves a trend, and I'm all for it! Who cares about Le Bron James investing in Liverpool? That's just part of his business portfolio, Rob n Ryan have got stuck in hands on, and are bloody well enjoying themselves doing it! It's a cracking adventure.👍

Looks aesthetically pleasing externally but the loss of the old kop, and a new hospitality section thrown into the middle of the new kop is a disappointment. I guess it's a sign of the times. Man United planted an executive section in the middle of the Stretford End and it killed the old atmosphere.

Love the design for the new Kop and what R&R are doing for the club and the community. However, my concern is that developers will start moving in and buying up land, and gentrification will take hold. Eventually, the very people that R&R tried to help will be driven out because they won't be able to afford to live there anymore, let alone afford a ticket to a match and the city of Wrexham will have lost its charm.

I would rather it be bigger than 5500 as even then we will easily sell out every game. When we are in league 1 or 2 most people wont even be able to get tickets for a few games a season.

My first thought was that as fantastic as this new stand is, it's disproportionate to the rest of the stadium. But if you read between the lines of the rhetoric, especially coming from Rob McElhenney, it's clear that the plan is to eventually do all 4 sides, to the scale of this new Kop Stand. If so, surely that will mean the eventual demolition of historic The Turf Hotel? Would Wrexham fans stomach this for progress? If they still have the original architect plans, a clone of The Turf could be built to scale elsewhere on site or nearby perhaps?

The height of the Kop needs to align with the rest of the ground as you don't want an uneven look so I hope the rest of the ground gets eventually redeveloped as Wrexham go up the leagues and attract more glory hunters 😄

It's a cool idea and a great design but not practical, there is a reason why the main entrance in on the A541, because it cannot be blocked by cars, Crispin Lane has "right of access", not only is it a residential access but the University has rights to it and National Rail, putting a new entrance to the football grounds means that cars need parking, so where is the new parking for 5000+ fans, if they park on Crispin Lane they'll block that access, the building doesn't fit in with the rest of the racecourse either, a big black gazebo connected to a white and silver racecourse doesn't fit in with the theme of the town, Wrexham is a pub town, that's why there are so many pubs along Chester road, build parking, honour the town and fix the flood lights, that's what we need!
