Metric gauge Stadler RailBus on excursion train from Pirghos to Kalamata and back to Pirghos organised by Trainose on February 2nd, 2013 (02/02/2013). The train departed from Pirghos early in the monring, arrived at Kalonero just before sunrise and reached Kalamata at 9.00 a.m. Later, early in the afternoon the train departed for Pirghos where it arrived just before sunset.

Nice looking units Alexander! They need a better horn, I'm looking for a clown on a bicycle..LOL Looks like a pretty area there, is the train popular? Gregg:-)

Hi Gregg and thank you for your nice comment! They are not so beautiful and their sounds are really silly but if there no other train to shot you 're going to film these Swiss plastic cubes on wheels, haha! In these regions - and in Peloponnese generaly - all train services were suspended in 20/01/2011 because government declared the line unprofitable...Just no comment... Why the crossings wont activate when a train passes away?

Im too late but they may be broken or non automatic but now that they reopened on small 34 km or something line they installed auto crossings from what I Know
