I recently got into BlackPink. So, as one does, I’ve been binge watching behind the scenes/fan made compilations. There are times when Lisa’s eyes are so mesmerizing, it is unreal. It’s not mere “eye contact” per se. It’s the way I’d want the love of my life to look at me. The kind of look that conveys what words can’t. This is probably why the other three members have all had weirdly close moments with her (not to mention she is always acting like she’s trying to smooch them). She is amazing. as a both bts and blackpink fan, I have to say you can't compare them to each other when you only saw the few performances you have seen. blackpink are very powerful performers, indeed, as it shows in how you like that and kill this love, they have amazing stage presence and confidence and they can be incredible performers (example: blackpink's coachella performance) however, they don't have that many songs and they can't always showcase everything they've got, hence why some people call them “overrated” which i disagree with. as for bts, their stage presence and confidence is unmatched, they've got some of the most iconic, powerful and stunning performances and songs, especially because they've been around for 7 years and have a ton amount of songs and concepts, plus they have 7 members and each one of them brings a new colour and a new type of power and confidence in the group, they have some of the best dancers and performers in kpop (jhope's unmatched stage presence and energy, v's incredible charisma, charm and facial expressions which got him the title “idol of idols”, jimin's amazing sensuality and power that get you mesmerized, jungkook's amazing presence and vocals, suga's swag and power, jin's visuals, confidence and presence, rm's incredible power and amazing swag). i know i most likely sound biased, but trust me im not, it's just that bts have solo projects and stages and songs that allow them to shine as a group and individuals, as for blackpink they don't have the same privilege due to their company and they haven't had the chance to shine as much as bts had, and i do believe that blackpink still have tons of hidden talents and surprises that can and will shock the world.
