In this Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Tifa Build guide video, I'll share the best material and equipment to make your Tifa to Stagger enemies and MELT them! I've found that the highest DPS I can get with Tifa is just staggering things then spamming Omnistrike > Unbridled Strength > Omnistrike repeat, it builds stagger damage super fast and Omnistrike itself does a ton of damage, I chunked a great many bosses down in seconds doing this

Once you get her last weapon its I've found it's best to enter the stagger, use the skill, rage and fall, omnistrike, and then two of the skill again and the rest of your party just spamming skills and attacking while you control tifa. You'll easily reach 300% dmg and just shred anything

Pair that up with “enemy skill. With Plasma discharge.” Big DPS and everytime you get ATB you create a discharge and cause soo much DPS with UN Strength and Omnistrike

my method is to stagger (have full ATB) then do true strike, rise and fall, true strike, omni strike, true strike ( i can't remember if rise and fall gives over 1 atb bar back) but yeah, all of those attacks raise stagger and you dont have to wait for the unbridled strength animation. You could also throw 2 true strikes first, then rise and fall, then omni strike, then 2 more true strikes, the triangle command directly into a divekick - all of that does massive dps

It's worth mention the auto unique ability materia will have her to automatically spend her triangle attacks if she is at chi stage 3 on a staggered enemy. She'll do all three in a row and increase the stagger damage bonus on her own the moment an enemy is staggered. Nobody seems to mention it but I've noticed it yesterday in my playthrough

@@chrommel1 no, she will use unbrittle strength until max chi is reach, then she'll use it on staggered enemy. At least that's what I'm seeing so far

yeah the ai is really good with auto weapon, Barret will reload after his attacks and abilities for the fast animation and Yuffie changes her element to mach the weakness if it's known, small stuff but nice to not have to micro if you do't mind the slot

I love how you actually made some realistic points that other videos I've seen failed to understand, like Cloud being the typical "main" character. Would Auto-Cast not interfere with the Auto Unique ability, though? Just wondering, but really appreciate the amazing video!

Plasma discharge Tifa is the way to go imo, I'm only on chapter 11 so far but I'm rocking Enemy Skill - Discharge for constant electric explosions and Sonic Boom for bravery 2 elemental materia with fire/ice & wind/lightning materia linked to each so every hit deals every element Skill Master materia to refill ATB even faster with all the command spamming we'll be doing Str up x4 for 100% strength bonus(I only have 1 for now, but I plan on running 4 when I can) Crazy DPS. Basically just spam basic attack and focus strike for dodge/ATB refill and when you have 2 bars and you'll be exploding and flying all over the place. Have someone with first strike cast haste/berserk on her and go nuts. Works great with the impulse skills here and there too as they refill ATB on hit

I gave Tifa Elemental Fire+Ice and she is a MONSTER. Far more enemies are weak to Fire or Ice than are weak to Wind or Lightning, it feels like. Cloud has Elemental+Wind and Lightning, and Barrett has my final Elemental Materia on just Wind, since most flying enemies have a Wind weakness. I've usually had Yuffie as a third party member with as high a Magic stat as I can get her, as her Ninjutsu makes her my pseudo-mage. But for Hard Mode, I'm gonna be running a Barrett Paladin-style build, with lots of healing and tanking.

Make sure to dodge the second focust srike hits to cancel the animation. This carried over from the original, however in the original you had to have Parry equipped to cancel the animation, parry isn't a thing anymore and their basic dodge is pretty much what parry was in the original. when you cancel the animation you can input the next command much faster. focusted sttrike > dodge > focused strike (stagger) > true strike > rise and fall > true strike > omni strike > true strike > uppercut > divekick. heavy stagger %

I use synergy skill to escape if you have bosses that like to grab and one shot. And swap to in and out of spots. I really want to build Yuffie mostly

Idk about most people but I generally only play as Cloud at the start of a fight to use assess and then depending on the enemy will usually switch to another party member. Definitely do not play as Cloud the majority of the time. I have spent quite a bit of time playing as every party member. With Barret being my favorite as he is so easy to play and win with. Although Tifa or Yuffie are really good if you need to avoid attacks since Barret sucks at that. Just fought a boss that instantly kills you or drops you to like 1hp if he hits you so Tifa was really good for that.

My main team is cloud, tifa, yuffie. They just demolish everything and yuffie has a nice ability for easily dodging difficult enemy attacks if they have crazy targeting that dodge alone just cant really handle.

Does casting Stop on an enemy still pause their stagger meter while they are staggered or was that only in Remake? Cuz I always had the Time Materia equipped on Tifa, not just for Haste, but also to pause a staggered enemy with Stop to get the bonus as high as possible.

Yeah I find Cloud gameplay to be very básic, kinda boring for me. I always have Tifa set as leader and play as her 99% of the time. When Tifa is not available, I play as Red or Yuffie. Basically anyone except Cloud or Aerith if I can help it.

Tifa is a stagger beast, but it’s fair when you think about it. You have to get in point blank to do damage with Tifa. It’s just annoying they nerfed her heavy attack speed, maybe that’s something you can upgrade later idk

Yup you gotta build her stagger nothing else. Ps Barret is the most op tank . I had a fight with Alexander and cloud and yuffie died. And barret held his own with soothing breeze and tons of spirit.

I am not sure I can say this so it makes sense so I hope someone can kind of understand at least what I am trying to say a lot of guides for gear & materia builds for each character on videos & random websites often recommend for example to have a Limit Siphon Materia on different characters at once but am I correct in saying you can only get one Limit Siphon Materia ? it is not just Limit Siphon it is other materias also I was just using that one as a example I really dont know what to do for materia & gear builds for each of the characters I cant find a guide that is laid out how Id like so I can understand it none of them are particulary clear either I have really been looking - maybe not very well is anyone able to suggest me a build for each character & is it possible to get more than one of certain materias that chadly sells that seem to be unique i.e Limit Siphon as I only have one & it says sold out

Check your combat settings screen. Make sure you have weapon skills set on their shortcuts.

Starshower is still there you get them from dragon claws from the Corel prison area. One of the mini games

Startshower and True strike are still there and they are nuts, specially true strike is optimal for Tifa rotations since Tifa is the best at ATB dumping, primarily due to true strike. This guide video is not that good, it was either rushed or it is designed for early-mid gameplay, not endgame. I mean, dude is not even using uppercut cancels to swim in ATB bars, or using her Uppercut-divekick cancel, says materia dont matter when you can clearly make some busted materia combos for Tifa with luck up or elemental materia, also Chi trap works with magic attack not physical... This guy clearly mains Cloud and did a quick Tifa guide that works but is not the best for endgame. Hell, even her uppercut-divekick cancel spam does more singletarget damage than using chi traps.

Great video. On Clouds build on his Saber weapon you have linked materia fire and ice. How did you get that? On my one I get 3 separate ones . I can only linked materia on the bangles.

You're weapon may not be high enough level yet. As you level up and increase your weapon rank your weapon will get bonuses like more/linked materia slots, stats, and new abilities.

⁠@@xRoycexStarshower + Cait Sith’s one random support that sky rockets your CRIT DAM% (OH MY LORD) if you get this buff and better yet had Bravery almost doubling physical damage While she has haste Starshower-Rise and Fall-I forget next level lulllllz-Whirling Uppercut so you had a 4 hit Well 12 hit combo expending only one atb After that hit em with True Strike Stead fast block and hit a few times then Overpower/Focused Strike (forgot her stagger weapon skills that you can literally use 25 times in a row as her atb charges a large amount after using it) There is never not a time to use her. Her magic stat is not the best but her damage output I think can outweigh any party member. Or at least easily outweigh them. Tifa has a phenomenal synergy skill with Barrett lmao “The Avalanche two-step” FUCK You don’t see a lotta Cloud Tifa Barrett like main groups since we have even more combat capabilities an many many combinations with limitless customization

This build is mid tbh, it is good for early-mid game, but for endgame there are way more busted combos and setups you can do.

No offence, but these builds are not very good in The brutal challenges, was on the fourth challenge and barely made it past the first round and got shwacked in the second one... The enemy's damage is just stupid high & overwhelming. They just chewed right through barrets HP before coming back to me & tifa, just brutal
