The most famous arirang is "Bonjo Arirang (본조아리랑)" aka "Standard Arirang." All Arirangs have the same refrain of "Arirang, Arirang, Arariyo." - Arirang is basically the unofficial national anthem of Korea, hence why literally everyone in the audience knew it and was singing along at the refrain. If you play Arirang, literally every Korean will know it and likely sing along haha - Most Arirangs are from a few hundred years ago, but they became especially significant to the Korean people while under Japanese rule - Arirang came to symbolize Korean national identity. - This particular Arirang, Arirang Alone, is far more recent than most and references the pain of separation between the two halves of the Korean peninsula. I know what the song is about, but not the actual history of it, so I will try my best from just MY onion as tyo what happens. This dong is about the divide of North and South Korea, and the hopes to one day become one again. So... I do not know Korean at all, but from what you called that thunder cloud part, I would assume that was the break of what was once ONE Korean country into TWO, North and South, and then the hopes to one day be one again. This is the best way I know to explain it. GREAT reaction. There are many really good and great singers out there, but... This woman... her flawless technique, and her range, and how she can go from belting to a near whisper, but never lose that note, with her masterful control, to me... So hyang one of my favorites. I just discovered a female vocalist on KZfaq that opened the floodgates of my heart. She’s from the small Faroe island and when she gives a performance virtually the whole island of about 600 show up. She has an angelic voice so unique , so mystical , so magical, so entrancing so hauntingly beautiful that if you ( or your subscribers) react ( no one will recommend her so I hope you will react privately ) to the following 5 performances after which you will probably become a fan and want to subscribe to her website where she will inspire you with about 40 more songs ( a mixture of live, Audio, and MV’s ) Please KZfaq the following 5 live performances ( first 3 from her small island, 4th live from Los Angeles and the last in front of thousands with full orchestra performing for the Queen!). “Eivor palsdottir trollabundin” ( first vid 5:44). ( from the Faroe Islands and trollabundin meaning ‘spellbound’ and all who watch this amazing.video in her native language will be spellbound.). Wish I was there outdoors sitting with the audience. Great tribal mystical vibes. Atmospheric mesmerizing hypnotic vocal prowess. The island’s backdrop scenery of mountains and rivers are breathtakingly beautiful and I wish I could have booked a plane and been there sitting among those lucky island fans. ~ “Eivor Palsdottir Wake me Up” ( 7: 11 duration) it’s in English and she kills it with celestial high notes and emotional impact. It’s about her longing to wake up from this earthy dream and reunite with a lover that left her and she longs to return to a place lit by heartfelt memories ( and oh boy does her voice scale the ethereal heights). This vocalist has already become one of my favorite female vocalists. And I just discovered her less than a month ago. How on God’s earth did i ever overlook this world class vocalist. Watch the drummer go crazzzyyy. ~ Eivor “ free falling” ( the one that’s 6:47 duration. It’s on the island but inside I believe a restaurant seating capacity ( when the camera panned the audience) probably 300 lucky lucky souls to witnessed this beyond amazing performance. She put it on KZfaq about 3 years ago and very few views and likes. If she performed it in America and there were 50,000 in attendance , all 50,000 would be screaming and yelling for a long time during and after the performance. The strobe lightening, camera angles, her otherworldly vocal all combine to make this rendition memorable. At the end she hits a phrase that is so celestial so mystical so heavenly that even the great Park Hyoshin couldn’t execute with the emotional impact and purity that Eivor does. And a band member on drums was really into it! is a sight to behold. Watch the drummer go crazzzyyy. “Evior sofar True love” ( 5:18 duration) she performed this several times but my recommended version is otherworldly and she hits high notes that Dimash may not be able to reach with pure ecstasy. ~ Excuse my excitement but whenever I discover an amazing vocalist I can’t control my emotions. When I first discovered Morissette, Daryl Ong, Dimash, ( best pop-op vocalist in the world), Diana Ankudinova, , Park Hyoshin ( best ballad vocalist in the world) , Park Ki Young ( one of the best female vocalists.. as good as or better than So Hyang ), Forestella ( best crossover male vocal harmony group in the world). Lara Fabian... Now for one more Eivor ( the only one I know with a full orchestra :) KZfaq “Evior may it be “ ( Lord of the Rings) in a palatial setting in front of thousands with full orchestra and the Queen of Denmark!! ( at the end of this amazing performance the camera pans to the balcony and the Queen Of Denmark clapping. Incredible, mystical, celestial , will transport you to a higher realm).
