I just received my HAKKO 601 and it is a game changer !!!!! My Weller is 15 years and I wonder why I waited so long to get a HAKKO !!!!!

I did actually! Different from what I was used to with a chisel tip. But this one was good, takes very little getting used to. 👍🏻 glad the video helped! Definitely recommend.

Its so you can remove the temperature knob to lock it into a position

it's to remove the temperature knob, certain factories use this product in the production line, keeping the iron in the desired temperature is a must to obtain the same results, so, the take the option of changing the temperature away from the workers to avoid mistakes and accidents.
