To achieve maximum juice cleanliness, the juice and pulp only come into contact with acid resistant stainless steel - 3mm thick on the basket to 6mm for the press plate. This hardwaring, longlife equipment will achieve the maximum juice yield for the minimum of effort.

You can use a kitchen robot to cut the fruit. Then place it 1 night in the freezer (plastic bags ?). Once it is no more frozen you can get the juice out of it.

If the jack leaks it would leak into the square receptacle of the pressing plate not the juice. - Am I wrong?

The hydraulic fluid can be replaced with veg or canola oil. The jack will loose some power but not much.

That is a real issue. Oil is poison. When things go sideways 😂 you have to dump the juice. Also the energy involved is a bit dangerous.... ..but so is drinking

So drain out the hydraulic oil and fill the pump with vegetable oil
