Yeah for sure, anything stainless is premium for sure .. the fact that they are approved for direct burial no wrap says a lot.

@theplumberlorian stainless steel isn't premium. It's a much cheaper alternative to brass. But its probably better than the thin zinc filled "brass" in other sharkbites.

They have a removal tool.. but you can also use a crescent wrench to remove them fairly easily as well

These are used to transition from one material to the next without the use of threaded connections or glue

I used push fittings mainly for transitions from CPVC and poly b .. we have a ton in our area .. usually transition to copper m, but no issues here.

@theplumberlorian it's funny sharkbites get a bad reputation cuz most people do they opposite. A lot of plumbers around here Sawzall out a bunch of copper and sharkbite to transition to cpvc lol

Well I’ve used brass push fittings for transitions on CPVC and polybutylene for almost 15 years now no issues and stainless is better than brass .. so I’d say that’s pretty good odds it’s going to last a while
