While the war ravaged all of Europe in 1945, Yugoslavia, unlike the other countries of Eastern Europe under the domination of the USSR, managed to free itself from the yoke of the Germans without even the intervention of the Soviets. . Marshal Tito, at the head of the country, will then not cease to strengthen his independence towards Stalin's government and to question this extremely centralized communism. Yugoslavia will become an extraordinary country by shaking up the world stage, positioning itself between the two blocs during the Cold War and seeking to create a powerful alternative, at the same time proving to the rest of the world that international politics cannot be summed up to the shock of the titans USA VS USSR.
