God has not only called us; but blessed us to no end. It is so true - you can outgive God!

We love hunting those whitetails too, just don’t have many places to do so. I had put in for that mule deer tags for 13 years before drawing.

Having the entire experience is such a blessing. From the drawing of the tag, online homework to boots on the ground, the wilderness “calls” us!

God is ALWAYS there for us to talk to. In the wilderness His love screams our name - always our closest times with God!

I was certainly convicted my friend. Little time to feel sorry for one’s self when considering man’s selfish nature and just how blessed we are as we inhale our next breath.

Funny - even though we were there - filmed and edited it - we still enjoy watching it again - especially now that there is only a month before season.

We seek to praise our Savior and King who gives us not only the desire, but also the strength to be about our business in the woods. Indeed - it is all a blessing we do not take lightly.

Success does not have a singular definition. Our passions are often gifts from God. Through our experiences hopefully we learn. These experiences are meant to be shared with others so they too can grow. Making new friends, navigating your way back home and descending safely from our tree stands are ALL successes. May each of us remember that being outdoors, enjoying the wilderness is a blessing from God. He not only created all things but has continued to blessed us with the ability to go forth and embrace the woods. You are absolutely correct - good eye! We talked about the stalks, and Scott discussed missing several times ( can’t recall if it was 3/4) that was “Sticker” he missed.

Those are pull on - I have a small child size to pull on over only socks and another pair to pull on over boots. They work very well and are quiet. Originally they were called “bears feet” - now another company makes a “lace over boot” which quickly tightens up with draw string. I have some of this as well.

We run 2blade Helix Single Bevel 200 and 225 grain most often. As they were unavailable at the time (the company sold) we had Grizzly 300 grain Single bevel and Stringer 155 grain 4blade.
