Another great watch. It can be frustrating when you don't find ones you know you have shot. I have found myself going back a few days later to see if the hounds can find it, they usually do 👍

Another good video... that one had to be in the burrow, surely! I fill in any holes/burrows near feeders precisely because it happens.

I've got out of my pop up hide to pick squirrels up from the feeder and put them on the floor inches away from the back of the hide,got back out for a leak 20 minutes later and a fox had taken both of them.

When my father used to take me deer hunting in the mountains in northern Georgia, I could have had any number of squirrels that I wanted if I'd had an air rifle instead of a shotgun. My dad's strategy for deer hunting was to find places above a game trail where deer were likely to walk past. He station me at one spot, and then he'd head off for another spot. Then it was just a matter of waiting. After about 15 minutes of not moving and being quiet, a couple of dozen squirrels would come out of hiding to root around in the leaves in search of nuts. If I'd had an air rifle, I could have had my pick of the critters to shoot.

I do a lot of thermal spotting, try using your left eye to spot and your right eye for the scope if you are able to do that. I find that the brightness from the spotter will make it a little harder for your eye to get used to the scope. But 99% of my shooting is at night. I do notice at night when spotting a lot when you remove the thermal spotter your eye can't see anything your only walking with one eye for a while. Thanks for the vids.

KZfaq is currently having a hissy-fit over the last few months. Peoples comments (including mine) disappearing. Subscribers being taken away from me, notifications being turned off randomly for some people. It's out of my hands unfortunately and quite frustrating, but glad you found me again. Yes, but it means extra than things to carry. I'm also recording myself at the same time so trying to carry 1 less thing massively helps.
