The Scott Catalogue is the standard stamp catalogue used by American collectors. But many collectors seem to be unaware of all of the information it contains that goes beyond stamp values. In this episode I will take a close look at a typical stamp listing and give a breakdown of the information to be gleaned from it.

LaLa Land sounds like a fun place until the inhabitants lost their way back home. 😀😃😄😆🤣 So creative! 🙂 You must have spent some time on preparing that. I didn't have a lot of experience with catalogues, yet, but one can get lost quickly, especially with omission of info where it stays the same - just my experience. Take care!

For one thing, it looks like you put a lot of effort into your presentation. And also a lot of imagination. Secondly, do you have a special interest in the Woodstock topic? I've been infatuated by the 1969 event for a very long time.

I don’t have a particular interest in Woodstock. It came to me to make LaLa Land a hippy commune after I put the form of govt as anarcho-syndicalist, which came to me because I’m an avid Monty Python fan. 😄

I love how you got around the copyright garbage by getting so creative with the country and sets here 😂 Judging by the font, I'm guessing they had a lot of baseball fans, at least on the Stamp Design Commune. With the quality we see on those designs, I bet that board was a lofty goal for many residents 👍🪙
