So the dies actually cut out snowflakes. I'm confused. I have this die set, and while one snowflake will cut out, the large one, does not. It only cuts out on the paper.

Hi!! Yes this set has several different kinds of dies and the large one cuts out the insides only. Some of the dies cut out stamped snowflakes and one of the dies cuts out a fancy label with snowflakes on the side. It's versatile.
