True. I have felt far more comforted by them than by supposed relatives and people who were supposed to be there for me, yet have instead judged, mocked, tried to tear me down or just censor/push me down anytime I tried to express myself or signs of self-development. Even if it comes from a place of their own insecurities, when you cross the line of disloyalty and disrespect, that's when you know you clearly can not trust people, which saddens me, of course. In very rough times, I have found comfort in their music and their words.

I actually didn't start loving them and following them because of their music, I fell for them because of their personalities, their honesty, their humour and of course their genuine kindness. Only after weeks of watching compilations of them being wholesome did I check out their music and I fell in love in that aspect too Joining this fandom has brought me so much joy and I know this line is kinda old by now, but it changed my life 💜

@@kylie9687 Me too! I started watching compilations or run episode clips but I was not really into the music at first. I think the first bit of a song I ever heard from them was the dubstep part of dope and it really was not my taste so I almost, like, refused to listen to their music for a while but I still was very drawn to them and their unique personalities and dynamics. They're just so natural like, they act like how they are, they're not afraid to show their fans their true personalities and that's what's really attractive about them. And they treat each other like actual friends, like, how can you not like them, right? lol Anyway, then I saw one of their performances i think it was a dionysus performance they did in a korean award show and I was like, okay I HIGHKEY LOVE this!! Then I actually started actively and purposefully searching and listening to their songs and became obsessed like, I fell in love with spring, magic shop, the truth untold T.T, boy with luv, cypher pt.3 is a mf rapping masterpiece, i don't even have to talk about it xD I'm so glad i started listening to their music bc there's some exceptions but a lot of their songs I truly, absolutely love

Me too! I do not fangirl over any celebrity at all. I don’t tend to like boy bands and I had never listened to K-pop at all. But then I decided to check out their music and live performances and I wasn’t that interested until I saw a performance of “Dynamite.” I felt through their dance moves the bond that they had. I know that sounds weird but it’s true and then I found out more about them and stayed and fangirl so bad over them. They are so kind and genuine and I just love them so much! 💜

The fact that they go live even after their difficult schedules just so that they could talk to us is so crazy. Any other person would rather sleep, relax, talk their loved ones like parents, friends or maybe even a girlfriend if they have one privately. Instead, they wanna talk to us again. Ever since I've stanned BTS and became an army, I feel so valuable and loved. For me it's that speech of namjoon, the one that's his crying and he say something like "I wish that exists a better word than love to express how I feel". He was in tears, literally bursting out of love for us and wishing that another word exist to embrace his feelings. That dude love us, very dearly and very much. I'm so thankful for this. When I still don't know about BTS before...I always wonder why a lot of people stan them...like what's so special about them??? Then when I finally decided to just check one video of them out of curiosity (JC's Carpool Karaoke) I got interested in them more to see how great they are as what other people are saying. Until I just keeps on clicking their videos...unaware that I'm already hooked on them. Like what we always say to new baby ARMYs.... '"Once You Fell into the Rabbit Hole" and of course the rest is history. I joined the fandom and I'm a PROUD ARMY!! I'm proud and so outspoken of how much I adores our boys because I can feel they do love and treasures us back (ARMY). BTS is grateful from the love and support they're getting from us and vice versa. That's why now I understand why millions of people loves BTS. Because ARMYs are not just the typical fans who stan them because of their looks or music. There is clearly a special relationship between BTS and ARMY that only us inside this fandom universe can truly understand. I found BTS at the downright worst of my life through a video which kept being recommended to me, "Namjoon being done with BTS". I initially ignored it, but then finally one day when I was about to break down crying-I finally decided to watch that video as it was recommended again and again. Needless to say, I laughed my ass off. I could only recognize Namjoon first tho-and everyone else was 6 Jungkooks, but then finally I watched more BTS crack and listened to their music. Then I started watching RUN BTS and boom, I became a very dedicated OT7 stan, Namjoon as ult and the rest as my wreckers. I'm eternally grateful to these boys and especially to the ones who are whole heartedly OT7 in this fandom-this place feels like home and the boys make me feel like I'm nothing less than special. I'll never know how people become solo stans when it comes to this incredible group. God bless them, these people who changed the way I view this world and the ones who taught me to love myself. There are times when I feel empty, I feel really down thinking there's nothing left for me but then I remember I have bts and my hearts feels full by all their love. It's honestly quite miraculous how someone who doesn't even knows your existence can comfort and love you more than people around you who actually know you. I really am thankful that I have bts and army in my life I don't know what I would've done without them

I've never felt this much connected to any artist before..BTS was and is my all time fav artist and will continue to be the same💜The amount of love they have for ARMYs is genuine and immeasurable🥺 And also I hope tannies will have a good time in the US... It was one of the best letter a fan can ever receive from an artist. I completely melted and got emotional reading Namjoon’s letter to ARMYs it was written beautifully and you can tell he took his time and put a lot of thought to it. :’)

When yoongi said that its hard because many belittle us for being fans but we are actually extraordinary hits. Everytime, someone hates or tells me/us mean comments. Eg: They look like girls, They don't do anything except sing and dance, it's stupid for you to stan them even when lots of other Armys have told them the opposite. I always stay silent and walk away instead of confronting them. Because to me i'd rather walk away and let them talk and waste their breath instead of mine. And i don't want to further create the image of us ARMYs being bad. I would rather spread more love instead. So, that really hit me, gosh i love them so much.. AND THEY STARTED CRYING TOO. my boys have really worked so hard ... I feel like as an army myself i really dont deserve any of the words/ songs they've produced. I know i dont deserve it so i'll work harder for them so they can reach higher heights

I started to follow BTS in 2019, so I haven't been an Army for a long time, sometimes I was sad for discovering them so late, but Namjoon once said that we discovered them when we needed them the most and it's true, it's really true. This year was really difficult and hard for me, i cried so much and many times I thought about give up and just let the people who were hurting me win. I know this is going to sound silly or it's going to be something that people always says, but BTS gave me the strenght to move on and face my fears, they were there when I was at my worst and even though they weren't there physically their songs were (and still are and always be) like a warm embrace that gave me strenght. I will never regret being an Army and give my love and support to these beautiful guys, i'm always going to be grateful for these guys💜🌌

BTS saved my life and they are getting me through starting all over again. It makes me sad to know that I could never thank them. As for ARMY, I thought good people were a rarity. It has been so life changing to see they exist by the millions. I love this place that I've stumbled into.

Last year, 17 y/o me , when lockdown started , I went in depression . My parents took me to doc . Nothing worked . But looking at my classmates whatsapp status , I started watching bts and after that I've never felt lonely as before . I'm always happy. I don't know what would've happened I it was not bts for me 😌

Becoming an Army and staning BTS was the was the most wonderful thing I ever did I learned how to love myself,how to always be myself,speak myself I learned how to see the bright side of life even in the most worst situation I still see it’s bright side and it’s all because of BTS 💜💜💜I love you all 💜

I just recently got to know BTS, i gave them a chance and now I am a fan. For all the nights that they have made me laugh, I feel indebted to them. I have a lot of insecurities and struggles at work, and they comfort me. After a while, I came to learn about their struggles, so now instead of just laughing with them, I’m crying with them too. Thank you to the armys too for supporting this bunch of amazing guys from day one, I would be sad if they aren’t where they are now. I’m late to the party but I’m glad I came 😊

You know many people ask "why you like BTS so much?". See here is the answer. Their music gives comfort to me every time. And look their genuine love towards army is the thing always shows that i stan a family not a group ❤❤. I just love them so much. They feel like my home. It's OK to cry sometimes...people say ! But when our sunshines cry our heart hurts 💔😢Bts are so transparent...I really love bts who express their feeling without hesitating....I love that they don't hold back their tears and express their feelings 💜
