Stan wrote this song in response to the Christchurch terror attacks in 2019. When performing this live he said "To our Muslim brothers and sisters, we stand with you, we are with you, we will protect you, but most of all, we will love you."

Great reaction, good to see the whole song rather than the edited reaction of Ultralight Beam 😉. It's an original from Stan and that was the keyboards you were hearing. The Levites are a backing band who started out in church hence the Old Testament name. Man I was up till all hours of the morning watching your reactions and now I'm back hahahha. This us one of my favs from Stan "In the dark we are the light" great message. This song is dedicated to all the Muslims in New zealand but for the ones that had lost their lives and the families in the mosk while in preyer, this song was written by him and another artist. The song it self is about standing by them (I'll stand for you), great reaction thank you

Stan used to si g at tbe church on grey street in hamilton 2 doors down from my house and on fridays him and hisbabd would spe d the e vening singing of an artist , i would sit in my ba k yard sip on a steiny and dance to his oice and this was efore american idol. Plus he looks like my son. He also payed tiggy with the kids at church i love him so much ! He is so humble our Stan kia ora from what the english call new zealand . Moari name for our country is Aotearoa interpertated to THE LAND OF THE LONG WHITE CLOUD!! Others call it GOD ZONE . Well the last part starting with "I'll stand" is from a Hillsong song called The Stand written by Joel Houston. So I'm thinking the first half of the song is written by Stan Walker and Vince Harder. As the first part doesn't seem in the style of Joel Houston.
