Good one

I urge all Canadians to openly review as many presentations regarding Kinder Morgan’s pipeline as possible. Both for and against. Opposition to this project is almost entirely based on peer reviewed scientific information not on carefully selected project supportive dated or limited reports commissioned by the proponent. If the NEB process was truly open and unbiased ALL data and reports submitted by the proponent would have been open to peer review and cross examination. The NEB process and its conclusion was deeply flawed and cannot receive the support of Canadians as a whole. There is every likelihood that this project would have failed reasonable standards that would have met “the national interest” of Canadians. We must take this pause to address the many shortcomings of this project and collectively “get it right” for all Canadians. This will take a willingness from all stakeholders, possibly over numerous years, to reach a consensus. There is no other practical way forward. Alberta Tar Sands bitumen may become only marginally viable as an energy source should global demand and pricing continue to fall. The Kinder Morgan pipeline could have a very short lifespan. Be very careful where you invest your’s and Canadians money. Subsidizing this project with Canadian taxpayers money is not a palatable option. For this and many other reasons we need to prepare our economies to transition to renewable and sustainable energy as soon as possible. I hope that B.C., Alberta, the Federal Government, First Nations and all Canadians take time to get this right. We can try and bully this project through or we can take this opportunity to build a stronger, inclusive Canada for all of us. Now it’s time for real leadership to come forward and seize this opportunity.

Kinder Morgan and Rachel Notley with Trudeau can take their trans mountain pipelines and connect it to their rear end. We in BC DO NOT WANT IT and that is guaranteed.
