"Stand-up science" is a dissemination project led by IDIBELL with the support of Torre Barrina (L'Hospitalet City Council) and produced by Eduscopi.
Its main objective is to become a channel for our young researchers (PhD students) to reach all audiences and promote their own symposium, the PhD day IDIBELL.
In this first pilot edition, "Stand-up science" invited all the winners and organizers of the IDIBELL PhD day 2018 to join a 3-day practical course on how to create science videos on KZfaq.
Participants had the opportunity to write their own scripts, based on their current research, and test them in front of a live audience during the "Summer Experience" event of Torre Barrina in July 2018.
