Standalone Installing APK's on the Meta Quest 2 / 3

Quick video on on a secret that has been floating around for a while, but how to install APK's on the Meta Quest 2 / 3 via Scoped Storage. I would have kept this under wraps, but Meta refused to fix the Scoped Storage issue that prevented modding.

Do you think zarchiver will be a workaround with modding or is modding fully dead?

It's a real shame modding is gone maybe one day we will get it back and if we do I will use your app to do it (have a good day)

Its been broken for a while, but Scoped Storage won't allow the app to Peer into /Android/data, so external modding is difficult

There may be a hacky way, still investigating. Locally I can use ZArchiver to access /android/data, but unsure why....

context: i do the three step process and i can’t press allow. i’ve watched your videos and none is the same reason for me. for me it says u can’t allow for privacy reasons. I started trying to fix it because when i went to download a mod it would ask me if i authorized storage/emulated/data/android or something along the lines of that. i tried allowing scope storage and an allow button didn’t show up.

@@logantaylor1480 Did you miss the warning on top that "modding is in danger"? Did you see the community posts about the status of modding? But Meta killed it.
