I sent the validated back to Standard, and they did an update or something. Now it only takes real money.

I took care of this through standard change maker. Unfortunately they did not do the software update on the bill accepters when this machine was delivered. Now I have no problems. its not a problem.

You should always lock the machine to the floor! if not you are vulnerable!!

@@splashemoutlaundromat yea. Cos at first i tot stacker is heavier if i put them together they should stop movong around. Another way im thinking is to put a heavier wood and lock it from the top. Cos my landlord dont let me drill their floor😅

I posted it to KZfaq and many have seen it. You are welcome to share with whom you like. Standard did tell me to send them the accepters with the fake money. I am doing that this week. I will keep you posted on what actions they will make.

To be totally honest and transparent, this is a standard change maker. When purchasing the standard Change maker i did not ask, nor did i know to ask wait a minute does this change maker have a pyramid, mars, or coincidence bill acceptor? As a person in business who relies on coin would think that Standard Change Maker would have a total fail proof system in place for its consumers. When i purchased my laundromat equipment, i did not ask whether the water valves were speed queen or not, and i don’t care as long as it works correctly. I don’t have time, nor will i take the time to study all components within a change maker. With all this being said, it was sort of a blessing, because this has confirmed my decision to go all card. We are currently in the process of changing over all 9 stores to card. I did call standard, and they wanted me to pay a substantial amount for new bill acceptors. The fact is, standard put these acceptors in their product, and did not want to take personal responsibility for them. Therefore, this video exists, and we are going all card. Thanks for enlightening me.

I believe they were a little shocked with what I was saying. I am sending them the acceptors with the fake money.

@@splashemoutlaundromat if you've already updated them from original then I would agree with you in the video that they must've done something to those bills because most have many different security futures. We have some bill acceptor at our business locations we couldn't get them to accept counterfeit money. Definitely makes a person wonder. I can tell you a officer told us you can put hair spray on a fake bill and it'll pass a pen test. Blew my mind

@@allenadams2469 People will do anything they can to manipulate these changers. I believe this is why the software is constantly changing and updating.

No, I would not worry about trying to get one that could counter measure that, because once you do they will come up with something that can beat it again. Mostly you will never have to worry about this. This really is an isolated situation.
