Standard Uranium is a junior uranium exploration company based in Canada, focused on the advancement of its 5 uranium projects in the Athabasca Basin region of Northern Saskatchewan, Canada. The Athabasca Basin is the world’s leading source of high-grade uranium and is responsible for 20% of global uranium production.
Standard Uranium Ltd. attended the World Nuclear Symposium with the aim of building relationships in the uranium sector. The World Nuclear Symposium attracts various shareholders in the nuclear sector including exploration companies, utility companies, producers and potential investors. The company believes that the nuclear sector is bullish and as such recently announced that it will conduct a non-brokered private placement. The placement will consist of any combination of units of the company at CAD$ 0.11 and flow-through units of the company at CAD$ 0.13 with the aim of raising CAD$ 3,5 million in gross proceeds for the company.
A unit will consist of one common share of the company and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. A flow-through unit of the company will consist of one common share of the Company to be issued as a flow-through share and one-half of one purchase warrant, valid for 24 months. The net proceeds of the offering will be implemented towards the exploration of the company’s projects as well as for working capital purposes.
Standard Uranium Ltd. plans to conduct 4,000 m of exploration drilling at its Sun dog project in 2023, from where it will also conduct exploration initiatives, dependent on capital, at its eastern projects as well as its Davidson River project.
