It is such a crime that we never had a Ford and Mabel bonding episode…They’re both Weird and chaotic and dramatic, in the best way possible, and would have made one heck of a team. And according to various canon sources, they also both happen to be share a love of 80’s synth pop!

One of the things I love most about Ford is how pretty much the whole fandom agrees that in addition to being one of the moat brilliant scientists/inventors of his time Ford is also an unhenged dumbass. Alex slips a throwaway line in a comic that Ford once dated a siren, Fandom: The siren asked Ford over so it could eat him for dinner, Ford just thought it was a date. Someone asks a youtube comment "why did Ford ask for a pen when he had one sticking out of his pocket", whole list of comments saying how Ford having a lazor/crazy invention, that only looks like a pen, is far more in character for him than having as actual pen would be.

Great uncle Ford is truly one of the best characters. He has a great personality, and a heart. He loves Dipper and Mabel. I found it cute when he was like “I-I have a niece and a nephew..greetings! Do kids say greetings? I haven’t been in the dimension in a long time.” So yeah! Truly one of the best characters ❤️ (Well, besides Dipper)

If you think about it, Ford could be just as chaotic as Stan in his own way. He gave Mabel a weapon and Dipper a mind control device so easily. Not to mention messing with creatures from other dimensions.

Ah, want to share interesting fact Actually, Ford writes in his Journal 3(I don’t remember what exactly was written) that he really confused Soos with a hairless gopher, because in some dimension he met creatures living there, and they looked very similar to Soos( there was a drawing, and it really looks like it. (literally a big hairless gopher in some kind of equipment with similar to Soos face)). So he wasn't being rude, he was really confused :)
