Never thought that I would have said this at one time in my life but ever since I started watching women's volleyball games in the early 2000s I got addicted to watching it and look forward to watching this as much as college football in the fall. As a young boy always loved college football dating back to the 1980s and never gave women's sports much thought because as a young boy and teenager in the 1980s it was always said that women's sports is a joke. Still hear that today and read many comments still on KZfaq, especially for women's basketball. But in the early 2000s, especially since I got the big ten network and now get the ACC and the SEC networks as well, I started watching women's volleyball and got addicted to it and now look forward to it as much as college football in the fall. These 2 sports are my favorite college sports. Since I started to fall in love and get addicted to women's college volleyball I try watching men's college volleyball in the spring. It is OK but I like the women's game much better. Like the action, the strategy and the love and passion that the Women show for volleyball and probably why I like women's volleyball more then men's volleyball. Men should give women's sports more of a chance because it is better then you have been taught especially in volleyball. Plus as a race car or auto racing fan, this idea that women can't be as good as men has been blown out of the water in that sport so I gained alot more respect for women. Currently women are leading in the points in 3 of the 4 pro dragsters car categories in the hot rod racing sport of NHRA and with dirt track sprint car racing have witnessed women winning from time to time in this sport even though very few women drive in this sport. Women don't suck at sports which I at one time believed as a kid and teenager because that is what we all heard.

CalmPiggy Cool when I thi k of sydney I think of noticeable serving runs...formico on the other hand, seems to make more errors than anyone else on the team with serving and if im not mistaken shes a serving specialist? There was a time when that girl (keefe?) was put in and it was so noticeable her added defense to the team. This stanford coach seems to be one of the nice coaches that may be too afraid to break her heart. I like him though.

@@ajollypanda4175 okay again completely missing my point of view. are you gonna reply to all my comments or something? again never claimed that jordan thompson isn’t a superb player especially considering she’s played for the US national team during her college career. but like i said, this stanford class simply would’ve dominated over cincinnati because 1) they have kathryn plummer and 2) it isn’t just her getting the kills and 3) this stanford class was outstanding in serve/receive and defense. wanna talk about a big block? let’s talk this stanford class. again not discrediting jordan because she is amazing, but even pittsburgh beat them 3-0 in the 2019 regular season. it’s no shade, just facts.

Kendal White is a special player and a leader as well but against a pretty good team with towering heights, superb blocking and disciplined defense such as Stanford, Kendal White looks average. Add the offensive prowess of Plummer, PSU was just literally obliterated.
