Kerr Stuart Tattoo 0-4-2ST 'Stanhope' (works number 2395 of 1917) in action on the days steam trains on the West Lancs Light Railway. The locomotive is part of the Moseley Railway Trust, normally based at the Apedale Valley Light Railway and was on loan to the West Lancs for the first half of 2022. The locomotive previously had been based at the WLLR before the Apedale Valley Light Railway opened.
The locomotive originally worked at the Royal Naval Dockyard at Rossyth, before becoming a contractors loco for schemes such as the Sicup bypass and Weardale Reservoir. The locomotive moved to the Penrhyn Quarry Railway in 1934.
