Lochs of Dread, one of my favorite songs, blending reggae, Scotch-Irish bluegrass, and jazz, by Fleck and Jerry Douglas from their amazing Telluride Sessions with Marc O'Connor, Edgar Meyer, and Sam Bush. Interesting that the skip the bluegrassiest break. Great jazzy version with Stanley Clarke, whose song to John Coltrane is another favorite. One of the best Fleck solos too.

The description buries the lead - Bela Fleck on banjo! From "Night School" Stanley Clarke on bass, Bela Fleck on banjo, Karen Briggs on violin and Stewart Copeland on drums, performing “Lochs of Dread”.

The ONLY time I have heard Stewart and thought: Maybe he should change the tuning of his snare--a little too dry and crisp for this groove--
