As a tortured Marlins fan it is a travesty that MLB let's owner after owner run a chop shop in Miami. It's easy money but that system only works because other teams in baseball run functional organizations. I know they could find an owner that could "Mark Cuban" the Marlins but they just let owner after owner steal money and ruin what should be a good baseball market.

@@poisoninlethaldoses You loved shoe-topper Tanaka too and that was a bust, Sabathia was a bust, A-rod was a bust, Stanton is a bust and Judge will be a bust too, nobody loves albatross contracts like NYY fans.
@poisoninlethaldoses Жыл бұрын
@@RD2564 I'm a born and raised Yankee fan. Personally, I didn't like Tanaka. Sabathia struggled and was not the worst pitcher in baseball history; regardless of how much money he was paid. I didn't care whether Alex was a Yankee or not, and he struggled immensely at times. I don't look at people's contracts as a general rule. The business side is why fans act like you're acting; because you attach enormously impossible expectations to a human-being simply based on a contract. You're arm-chair coaching and insulting two of the best players in the league with Stanton and Judge. I see them as people, not as dollar signs. Teams win and lose as a collective effort. Management doesn't always make the best decisions (This is true for any team.), but when you're focused on money, you're missing the point. I prefer to enjoy the game and these are two players I have tremendous respect for. They're leaders. I'm sure you'll attack Judge's off-season offers, too. You're entitled to your opinion, but you don't get to speak for every single Yankee fan on the planet.
@RD2564 Жыл бұрын
@@poisoninlethaldoses I checked stats and CC was OK the first 4 years but terrible the last 7 years. A concept I live by is you should be able to expect to get what you pay for and Yankee fans are too used to NOT getting what they pay for in the Cashman years. Now the bullpen is broken and NYY probably go down easy again this year.
