Your story has put me on my knees because I have felt that fear, received the news of what I thought was death sentence. I was 27 and 38 weeks pregnant and I went to see if I was dilated and they found my cancer. Stage three metastases to my bladder. Since then I’ve had 26 surgeries and bladder removed and now have urostomy. I’m thankful for my journey. My son saved my life and slowed my cancer down bc he was getting nutrients instead of feeding the cancer. I had 15% chance survival and I pleased to announce I’m 10 years cancer free. I’m proud of you. Keep your eyes on the lord. Jeremiah 29:11

I believe that we are all connected and when our ancestors leave this physical realm and return to the universe their spirits guide and protect us. Stan's lastest song IAM for the movie ORIGIN has touched my soul , thanks for sharing your story with the world. Blessings and continue Success.

Dear Stan! Saw you first in a reel singing Ultralight Beam. That voice of yours immediately spoke to me, you know like "deep calls unto deep" (I'm a singer with an impaired lung capacity who is giving up on life). Came on KZfaq because I had to look for you. Read you didn't have a stomach in a comment section. I thought, "Yo, the way things gets wilder with this guy each flippety second!!! Who is this Amigo?!" Suddenly this video pops up on my feed. Few minutes in, I'm crying Bruh! I'm bawling like, "Lord Jesus, You can have me!". I'm no longer the same person. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Your mother......she carries such a fire! I wanna be strong like her. Your whole family be so cool, too! I love them (wish I had one, don't know what having one like yours feels like). Then there's you, Stan. Your unique smile, your purity, your honesty, your playfulness in the face of death, your sense of humor.......yo Bruh, I'm stealing aaaaaall o' that and imbibing that spirit! Because I need that in my countless life-threatening battles. I don't even know if you'll ever see this or if it will ever mean anything to you (since you have soooo many fans and loved ones already who say the same things) or if I will ever get to see you face to face. But I want to say THANK YOU. Keep fighting. Keep being you. Keep singing. Keep smiling. I will pray for you every day, I will fight with you. I promise. ❤Love you so much, my brother from another mother!

I completely felt this...colon cancer runs in my family on my father's side. Only known to run in the males though. However, my father has fathered 3 girls and a boy. My second oldest sister started having bloody bowels not to be TMI. My father knew immediately at the age of 20 he had his stomach removed due to the gene. He lost his father and my grandfather to his surgery as he ended up having lung cancer not sure if known and it spread once he was opened for surgery. It was then a family trip to Duke University Hospital to test all the kids and it ended up the 2 middle ones (her and I). We are to be checked every 3-5 years to keep watch out. Now I feel the kindred spirit of something powerful when I first heard and discovered him from my Pandora radio while listening to my spiritual list and it went into autoplay and that's when it happened..I was and have been battling with keeping my faith in all the storms and things that keep seeming to come my way. So I'm in the works of being scanned finally since the last one in like 2013 due to insurance coverage not covering the procedure. Last scan I had some pre-cancerous polyps on my rectum but before all this my large intestines were priorly removed before my 18th birthday so that the surgery could be done and under my parent's insurance that would cover it 100% Thank God for a caring medical field then cause it was to be done after my 18th only time available and my spiritual parents and family and but God it was shifted to be done so I could and wouldn't be stuck to deal with going into 'adulthood'. This makes his whole being make sense. And I'm sorry you never experienced a loving family and your story touched me too. May god continue to bless us all and continue his amazing grace because not all can say they survived and were given more time. Need to practice what I'm about to say but prayer is the lifeline and it's always God's timing.

When my grandson was shot last year, he was sitting next to his friend who probably weighs half as much as him and is a foot shorter, I remember him saying that he was so glad it was him and not his friend cuz he knew his friend would not have survived. He was in the hospital for four months, in ICU on a respirator for weeks, and was tube fed for even longer, it was a long, long road and we almost lost him. Yet still, he’ll say that he’s glad it was him and NOT his friend...❤️

Stan, I don't know how you appeared on my news feed, but I'm so thankful you did. What an amazing relationship you have with your mother, and you aren't embarrassed to admit how much you rely on her, but how close you are. Most men are too embarrassed to admit they're so close to your mom. Your family's relationship with God sustains all of you, as it is meant to be. Your strength and the encouragement of sharing your journey with all of us, who have never heard of this inherited gene, made me both cry and be thankful to God for everything you've been through and how He has sustained and strengthened you. May God continue you on your journey and may He give your other family members with this gene the strength to have their stomachs removed. I wish you continued success, your mother the courage to have surgery and your uncle who, by now, had his stomach removed, a long and healthy life. May God continue to bless you and your family.🙏🙏 Wishing you continued success with your singing...you have an amazing voice!

80% of the immune system is in the stomach, we kill and replace our bio security system with parasites mostly through crappy habits, drink filtered water, eat organics with the dirt microbes which is the whole point of organics is to get the microbial life from the soil into the stomach. the stomach runs the show, all sickness is inflammation,. I suggest you study and practice the Wim Hoff methods, Ratcliffe and Gregg L. Semenza - recently received the Nobel Prize in physiology and medicine "for their discoveries of how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability." Also John Rose the vegan guy, take care!

@Kyle Burlette Good for you, and your momma!! I lost my son to addiction and it totally changed our family in a negative way. I'm finally healing from his loss. It's wonderful everytime I hear someone beat addiction. I know it's a lifetime struggle that's real, I'm not undermining that, but that's an accomplishment to be proud of!! 🏅 I pray that You continue to stay sober and vigilant. God bless you and yours. ❤🙏🕊

Christian Keys had a snippet of your UltraLight Beam song on IG and I searched, found the song on KZfaq and now listening to this. I hear you. I feel you. All praise, glory and honor to God, in Christ who heals and prepares us for the journey already destined for us. Is it God, in Christ for you? Your music is spiritual; it touches; it is anointed. May your journey be continually blessed, your every effort rewarded and your talent, your voice forever touching our spirit as it did/does in UltraLight Beam (dude that was a song - lyrically and production!) and may your mother's love /family's love always carry you strong. She is definitely a praying woman! Blessings!

@StanWalker Thank you for sharing your story-good times and the struggles! I was born with a congenital Pancreas defect-Pancreas Divisum-which caused Chronic end-stage Pancreatitis. I had pain since I was a kid but hospital visits for 'the pain' were dubbed from 'gas', IBS, Crohns, etc. until 2007 when I was dying in a small town hospital for 6 weeks then sent to Yale for 5 weeks and they found it. Pancreatitis is hard because you become addicted to opioids its incredibly painful as the body eats itself alive. I ended up having a Whipple at UPMC(in the States it is a transplant hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) as a study group for healthy individuals who took care of themselves to see how we do after. I TOTALLY understand what you go through. Our bodies heal differently and go into shock adapting. Pipes go crazy and I had inflammation for YEARS gaining 50 pounds!!! I had my ENTIRE pancreas, spleen, gallbladder; part of my small intestine and stomach removed then put back together then they put my pancreas Islet Cells that still make insulin into my liver! Crazy, right? My liver has my pancreas in it :-) I take enzymes to eat and I throw up still sometimes lol. People want to hurry and fix everything and it doesn't happen that way. Patience I had to learn. You're life changes. I am happy you have support as I didn't. Long story short, years of illness took a toll on some of my relationships because of the gravity of the illness itself was different and not something people can understand. It is 6 years out and it has taken every minute for me to lose 40 pounds and I was very active before-I just got an insulin pump and started seeing an Oncologist/Hematologist tracking my blood charts to see what nutrients I need and THAT has been life altering(waited almost a year to see him and I was dying a slow death from Iron anemia) as I got Iron IV infusions and pounds started coming off with new energy. We are f'kn strong! Even though I feel weak lol most of the time.

Stan, this is the second time I have seen this documentary. It is a life changing and inspirational work- like your songs. My wife and I both love your voice and enjoy your CDs and discuss you in admiring tones often. We are both Christians and we are moved by how significant God is in your life. Keep going the way you are and the world will (with God’s help) know who you are. In my opinion, you are the finest singer in New Zealand with a kauri sized heart. May God keep blessing you Stanley Walker. Kia Kaha!
