I know that Stan is a devout Christian. He has experienced and endured abuse, pain, loss and sorrow through his younger years. He has a family history of Cancer and had his stomach removed due to a hereditary caused diagnoses. Stan has been tempered in the fire and has emerged pure 'gold'!!! Evangelist Stan Walker who can preach a soul searching message in less than 5 minutes through the universal platform of music and song and have you down on your knees questioning the reason for human existance. There is an hour long video here on KZfaq that was done about three years ago. The video chronicles Stan Walker’s journey through a rare kind of stomach cancer that has affected and taken the lives of 25 plus family members. He has a strong family dynamic and the outpour of love and support along with his family’s belief in God is paramount! During his recovery, he lost his voice , but he remained humble and God saw to it that he retained his gift! Knowing this makes this song that much sweeter! Stan Walker is a dynamic singer! He is anointed! He and his group support one another and it is just beautiful! I pray that we receive more of his gift!

I was introduced to Stan Walker by a co-worker who comes from New Zealand...I was like...umm..who?? And My Goodness Gracious...Stan is blessed with one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard! I have no idea why but by the time the song was finished. So was I. Had me just, tears down my face and questioning myself even though I've been working my butt off throughout the years and thinking about am I doing enough? Am I enough?
