This is the most Star Citizen thing I’ve ever seen. It survives being dropped out the back of a ship from 12km up but gets destroyed after running into a container.

Or just parachutes for players - we can eject but it’s not survivable right now. Whereas if you had one of these in your ship, you can use it to bail out.

Imagine the fact that when I submitted this idea to the community on spectrum and as a feature request, all the community said to me that "in low atmosphere planets it won't be useful so there was no reason for parachutes to be added"... Just imagine

I have used my ursa rover as a ODST drop pod for my 4 buddies and I out of my Connie. Having 5 of these flying out of a Connie for a drop would be an awesome thing to experience!

Can you pick up a gravlift bike with a tractor beam if there i someone riding it? There might be a way to do a moving pickup too.

Yup, all ground/hover vehicles constantly take small damage. In bikes like this that don't have shields, it causes vehicle destruction pretty quick. Only place I really use bikes is the NB ice lake.

you can do the same with most vehicles just have to ge them to land on their wheels, mule is easiest to do
