Some corrections I wanted to point out. (No Idea how I missed these). In New Babbage it is possible to buy personal weapons at the Centermass Kiosk which is a location for ship weapons so personal weapons are available just not at an obvious location. Shubin Interstellar also sells armor. In Lorville Tammany and Sons sells food at their kiosk inside the clothing store which is easy to miss. There is also a Centermass hidden in Area 18 at one of the towers. Much thanks to BSSolo on Reddit for helping point these out! Still my opinion is the same at the end of the video. Cheers!

I always go for Lorville as it is the place in the centre of Stanton with a short travel to any other location

the best places aren't any planet but instead the space stations above them. my personal home is seraphim because it has a perfect weapon dealer with the best armors in the game. it has no train system so getting to my ship is easy and i dont have to climb upto 10k to be able to jump.

On new Babbage you don’t need fly across lake to garage. You can direct from space port get to bigger garage in same space port on same side of lake.

How did this video miss so many details and state incorrectly that some cities are missing amenities that they do have? And microTech's garage is at the spaceport, not across the lake.. Also one might consider the planetary space stations you can skip the travel to spaceport and out of atmo. New Babbage is nice, that's what i chose.

The overriding consideration is "can I easily find the spaceport to land any time of day or weather condition?" And the clear winner by this criteria is New Babbage. All the other stuff doesn't matter. Buying a ship in-game is a lousy consideration for best city because you do that only rarely. Weapons/armor purchasing availability can just be done on whatever space station is permanently above your city, unless its Arccorp in which case no weapons anywhere. Also I think it should be pointed out that in the long run I expect every city to have mostly everything. A capital city of an entire planet is going to have "all the things". The situation now is temporary because the game is alpha and CIG is testing player behavior or they just haven't gotten around to adding stuff yet. Except for a few things, like no guns at Arccorp due to lore. I'd put "New Babbage is permanently endowed with easiest to find spaceport" on a similar list except I expect them to make their landing / ATC systems better eventually.

As of 3.23.1a, New Babbage on Microtech is the best. Once personal hangars are released, it'll be a closer call, but the ease of finding the spaceport to land on MT is pretty solid.

This is going to matter a great deal with personal hangars which will be at your home city. Lorville is the current strongest contender but when/if(ever) Pyro happens A18 is going to have the shortest hop to the gateway. A18s spaceport is still a bit of a pain to find. If you need compnents then a single trip to Orison is all you need.

Area 18 always

Historically, I always chose New Babbage or Orison. Now that cargo elevators and summoning vehicles through those cargo elevators is a thing, I might be looking at basing myself out of Orison this time.

Normally Lorville but the large hangar is explodey at the moment.. Microtech👍🏼 but with the new gimp mode for flying it's difficult with big ships to overcome the weather.... Crusader everyone locks you up or shoots so it's ArcCorp I guess🤷🏻‍♂️

Before, i thought it was Microtech because it has vehicle and spaceship hangars in the same spaceport, but NBIS is SOOOO DAMN BUGGY.... that i now hate it.... i will choose Orizon next time.

For me i go for Lorville. It is the central planet and has easy access to missions.

I heard the Aeroview Hangars are bigger than the industrial hangars in 3.24 so Lorville is a no go. I'll probably pick Orison to be close to Seraphim and center to the action

Hi. Seems that you need to explore a little more Lorville. There is a weapon shop (tammys)

Micro is too far out of the way, orison doesn't have good enough retail, I'd rather spawn in jail than lorville, and that leaves us with sweet sweet arc corp.

My favourite city is Area 18, but there is lack of interesting content on the planet, so I will choose Lorville. I like FPS missions so I often live on Hurston or Microtech.

Orison doesn't have a longer walk to the tram.

I like Arccorp, and Arc L1. I will live in Terra.

Note for Microtech. There is a garage under the landing zone. The elevator is behind and to the left of the hologram NPC.

Orison. Get a better computer if it can't handle it.

for me i would say lorvilleeee why? .. first of all you can SEE the fkn thing LOL.. thats it really.. could city awesome.. horrid to land at .. same with arc corp .. utter shit. hopefully in the future we wont need to worry about that but as a new player.. ( for landing ) lorevile is ya go to..
