I‘ve always loved my trusty Buccy. It’s so underrated. I remember joining NerdShowAndTell in a big group pvp event and we were slapping. He even said “that buccy is doing work!” on stream which was such a great compliment! Btw my fav loadout is a A4DB Gatling on top, 2x FL-33’s and 2x FL-11’s. :)

The bucc is the Bf-109 of the verse. I wish it had 2 size 1 less and a single S5 under the nose, just for philological reasons! Next video, a DAMN retaliator could be fun!

According to Erkul, the Bucc has 15000 energy in it's capacitors but only a 1500 recharge rate - meaning it takes 10s to fully recharge its capacitors. 15000 energy is nothing to scoff at though, that's more energy in one burst than a Vanguard or even a Lightning

saw this after commenting on your last vid about the buccaneer, i also noticed the low capacitor with all laser repeater loadout, im testing the yelllow jacket gatlings in place of the bulldogs, the rest of the laser repeaters get more shots and i would need to only use the yellow jacket gatlings sparingly, im also using gimbals so dropping a size down on 2 of the weapons, and using the twin size 2 mount in place of the sixze 4, as im kinda rusty on the joystick flight and combat.

The Buccaneer is definitely my favorite. The Reliant Tana is also a contender, you basically trade all your speed and downgrade two size 3 weapon to size 2 for bed and missiles.

Bucc is my fav ship for combat. I know it is at a disadvantage in pvp but I love how it feels.

What do you mean good now? I've been using the Buc for VHRT and below since 3.17. you can do a VHRT solo with ballistics in about a minute and a half

because ERT are not worth the trouble, the bigger ships take forever to kill. Plus its nostalgic, VHRTs have been what you run to make big money in past patches, pre 3/20 and so on. Some ships I do ERTs, but i still leave the title VHRTs

Bucc has only 1500 energy weapon power, the lowest in the game, lower than even the gravlev bikes. That's why they charge so slow for you. It's basically useless as an energy weapons platform, with terrible dps.
